Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. At which Springfield store did Bob conduct an armed hold-up?

Answer: Kwik-E-Mart

In "Krusty Gets Busted", Bob frames Krusty by holding up Apu. Homer is a witness, and Krusty gets sent to jail. Bart and Lisa set out to free Krusty, whom they believe is innocent, and prove that the real criminal was Sideshow Bob.
2. Bart and Lisa manage to get Bob released from prison so that he can appear on Krusty's comeback special (after he had been cancelled due to the popularity of 'Gabbo').

Answer: False

After framing Krusty, Bob and the Klown are enemies and Bob is not invited to Krusty's Komeback Special in "Krusty Gets Kancelled".
3. Which Bouvier family member does Bob marry?

Answer: Selma

In "Black Widower", he marries Selma and almost kills her on their wedding night, but Bart uncovers his plan. Selma marries Bob (as well as Troy McClure and also Lionel Hutz, but she never marries Apu like once asked to), Marge marries Homer, Jacqueline marries Marge's father (and almost Grampa and Mr. Burns), and Patty almost marries Principal Skinner.
4. When the Simpsons move to Terror Lake through the Witness Protection Authority, what garden tool does Bob step onto repeatedly, once he climbs out from underneath the car?

Answer: Rakes

In the episode "Cape Feare", The family is forced to move because Bob is paroled from jail and is determined to kill Bart. They move to Terror Lake as the Thompsons, but when drifting downstream in their houseboat, Bart once again foils Bob's plans by using his last wish to ask Bob to sing the entire score of the "H.M.S. Pinafore".
5. What local government position does Bob run for in "Sideshow Bob Roberts"?

Answer: Mayor

After being paroled yet again, he wins the election from Joe Quimby because the election was rigged. Bart and Lisa discover that all of the 'people' who were listed as having voted for Bob were actually dead animals or people, whose graves are all at Springfield Cemetaries. Bob orders for a new road to be built through the Simpson house, and it was going to be called the Matlock Expressway.
6. When Bob appears at the air show, he demands for all television to be destroyed. At the end of the episode, who does he try to kill?

Answer: Krusty

In "Sideshow Bob's Last Gleaming", he threatens the town with an atomic bomb, which we later find out was 'Best Before November 1959'. Krusty still appears on TV via the Emergency Broadcast System, so Bob kidnaps Bart and takes him on a kamikaze mission in the Wright Brothers' plane out to the alkali flats in the Springfield Badlands, to kill Krusty the Klown. He is foiled yet again.
7. Who is Bob's brother?

Answer: Cecil

Cecil, Bob's younger brother, returns when Bob is released from prison in "The Brother From Another Series", and plans to flood Springfield by building a faulty dam. Bart and Lisa catch him out, but when the police arrive to arrest Cecil, they end up arresting Bob again as well.
8. Bob comes back from prison with a mission to kill Krusty. Who does he hypnotise to attempt Krusty's murder during another one of his comeback specials?

Answer: Bart

In "Day of the Jackanapes", Krusty claimed he was retiring from show business, but he made his fifth return from retirement because he missed the spotlight.
9. When the Simpson family realise someone is trying to kill Homer, Bob helps to solve the mystery. Who was it that was trying to murder Homer?

Answer: Frank Grimes Jr.

'Junior' wanted to avenge his father's death, as Homer had caused Frank Grimes Sr.'s death in "Homer's Enemy". In "The Great Louse Detective", the Springfield Police Force enlists the help of Bob, who they consider to be the craziest homicidal man in America.

This is similar to how Hannibal Lecter is consulted in "The Silence of the Lambs". Homer and Marge list Homer's enemies as Mr. Burns, Fat Tony, the Emperor of Japan, ex-president Mr. George Bush, the late Frank Grimes, PBS, Stephen Hawking, 'the fat little Dixie Chick', and the state of Florida.
10. Which ex-"Cheers" star provides the voice of Sideshow Bob?

Answer: Kelsey Grammer

He also stars in his own spin-off TV show, "Frasier". He is quite a good singer (which is why Bob sings a lot on "The Simpsons").
