Answer: The League Of American Nationalists

The leader of the League of American Nationalists (L.O.A.N) was Ethan Zobelle (played by Adam Arkin). His second in command was A.J. Weston (played by a very intimdating Henry Rollins). Ethan insisted that the organization was not racist and that they were white separatists and not white supremists.

Answer: Raped her

Gemma stopped to help a panicked mother who needed help with her child in a minivan. The panicked mother was Polly Zobelle (Ethan's daughter). Polly struck Gemma in the back of her head and kidnapped her. When Gemma woke up, A.J. and a group of his thugs raped her and told her that SAMCRO was done. Ethan thought that when Clay, Jax and the other SAMCRO boys found out that Gemma was raped, that would push SAMCRO to a quick and unplanned war which would ultimately shut SAMCRO down.

Much to Ethan and A.J.'s surprise, Gemma chose to protect the club and did not to tell Clay or Jax about the rape.

The only 3 people that knew Gemma was raped were, Charming Chief of Police, Wayne Unser (who found Gemma and staged a car accident to explain her wounds), Dr. Tara Knowles (Chief Unser brought Gemma to her for treatment) and later on Deputy Chief Hale.

Answer: The porn industry

Jax was asked by Big Otto, the jailed club member, to assist his wife Luann with her adult film company. Luann was being harassed by another adult film producer. Jax brought this to the club as a legitimate way for the club to generate funds. The club voted to help Luann in exchange for a share in the profits.

Answer: Car bomb

L.O.A.N had a vehicle towed to Teller-Morrow Garage (and SAMCRO club house). SAMCRO member Chibs went to move the car and was critically injured in the explosion. This pushed Clay and the other SAMCRO boys over the edge. A quickly devised plan was put together on some information that SAMCRO received. During the ensuing vote, Jax voted against the proposed plan, which increased the tension between him and Clay.

The club voted to go forward with the attack (despite Jax's misgivings). SAMCRO attacked L.O.A.N while they were conducting a meeting in a church.

As SAMCRO began the attack they quickly found that they are at a regular church meeting and had been set up by Ethan and A.J. The SAMCRO boys were quickly arrested and taken to jail.

Answer: Porn actress

Lyla worked as one of Luann's many actresses. Opie and Lyla shared the common bond of being considered on the fringe of society (due to Opie being a member of SAMCRO and Lyla acting in porn) and of being single parents. Opie's fellow club members saw that Opie was happy and were ok with Opie dating a porn star. Gemma and Tara were both against Opie having his children around a porn actress. Tara was quite vocal to Lyla that she did not approve of Lyla being around Opie or his kids.

As the season progressed, we saw that Gemma and Tara become more accepting of Lyla as they watched her and saw that she's a good parent as well as good to Opie.

Answer: Go Nomad

Throughout this season we watched Jax get more conflicted by the direction Clay had taken the club as well as Clay's part in Donna's death. After several run-ins about the porn business with Clay, and other members of the club confronting him about his loyalty to both the club and Clay, Jax decided to go Nomad.

This meant that Jax was still in the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, but was no longer a member of any one chapter. After a tense vote, SAMCRO voted to allow Jax to go Nomad. Jax pulled his knife and cut the SAMCRO Redwood Original patch and the Vice President patch from his jacket on the SAMCRO clubhouse table.

When Gemma found out that Jax was going Nomad, she sat him and Clay down. She told both of them she was raped by A.J. and the guys from L.O.A.N.

This did not destroy the club as Gemma first thought. It pulled Clay and Jax together. Jax picked up his patches and was later shown sewing them back on his vest.

Answer: Goes after Agent Stahl

At the Teller-Morrow garage, Tig was no longer able to handle the guilt over killing Donna. Tig confessed to Opie that he killed Donna by mistake, thinking she was Opie. Tig told Opie that during Opie's most recent incarceration, Agent Stahl set him up to look like he was a rat. Opie beat up Tig, who didn't fight back at all.

As the other club members approached to see what had happened between Opie and Tig, Opie left and looked for Agent Stahl. Opie found Stahl in her car. Opie surprised Stahl at gunpoint. Stahl apologized for setting Opie up and for Donna's death and begged for her life. Opie decided not to shoot her and told her to remember that a bad guy like himself spared her life. Opie walked away and Stahl broke down into tears. Opie remained loyal to the club and returned to the clubhouse. Stahl never charged Opie with the assualt.

Answer: Jax Teller

SAMCRO learned Ethan was not racially motivated and had dealt heroin with the Mayans (A Mexican M/C) strictly for the money. Jax told A.J. that Ethan had worked with the Mayans and that Ethan had intentionally left him out of the loop. A.J. in turn confronted Ethan. Ethan admitted to A.J. that he had worked with other races and A.J. left L.O.A.N. A.J. was later arrested for burning down the porn business SAMCRO had owned with Luann. Ethan was arrested when he was confronted by SAMCRO at his cigar store.

When Chief Deputy Hale arrived to stop the fight, Ethan admitted to having heroin in the store. Ethan did this to save himself from SAMCRO. Both A.J. and Ethan were arrested before SAMCRO could get their revenge. When A.J. was released, SAMCRO, led by Jax, was waiting for him.

They followed A.J. as he went to pick up one of his sons for a supervised visit. A.J., accompanied by a police officer, brought his son to a tattoo parlor. SAMCRO knew the tattooist and told him to help out with getting A.J to them.

The tattooist helped, and while in the process of getting his tattoo, A.J. had to use the restroom. A.J. went into the hallway in the back of the shop. There he was met by Jax and some other SAMCRO boys. A.J. accepted that he was about to be killed and asked that his son does not see his dead body. Jax shot A.J. and left him dead in a bathroom stall. When Ethan was released, he was protected in his store by the Mayans, who brazenly rode into Charming and parked in front of his cigar store. This caused a tense stand off between SAMCRO, which had parked on the other side of the street, and the Mayans as Deputy Chief Hale watched.

Answer: Polly Zobelle

Gemma was in town and saw Polly walk to her car. Gemma followed Polly to Edmond Hayes's house. Polly entered the house and found her boyfriend Edmond dead on the floor. Gemma entered and after a confrontation, shot and killed Polly. Gemma sat down and smoked a cigarette. Agent Stahl entered the room from a side room she had hidden in. Agent Stahl allowed Gemma to leave. Gemma left and Stahl called in that Gemma had killed Edmond and Polly. Chief Unser heard about the call, found Gemma and left town with no particular destination.

Answer: The Irish Republican Army

Cameron Hayes found Tara and Half-Sack with Abel. Cameron decided to take Abel in retaliation for his son, Edmond's death, which he blamed SAMCRO for. Cameron killed Half-Sack, who tried to protect Abel and Tara. Cameron spared Tara because she had previously saved his life. Cameron fled to the docks with Abel. Jax found Tara tied up. Tara told Jax that Abel was taken by Cameron. Jax called Clay and told him that Abel was kidnapped. Clay was with the rest of the SAMCRO boys and they had Ethan cornered in a diner. Clay and the SAMCRO boys left Ethan and rushed to the docks. SAMCRO did not make it to the dock in time. We watched as Jax broke down and is held by Clay as Cameron left in his speed boat with Abel.
