The morning after their night of passion...or evening after, Spike and Buffy argue. Spike: "You felt something last night." Buffy: "Not love." Spike: "Not yet. But I'm in your system now. This was the controversial scene where Spike, pushed too far by his feelings for Buffy and her treatment of him, attacked Buffy and attempted to rape her. She stopped him, and he left town for Africa, where he regained his soul.
