Glory turned her head just as she was impacted by a huge truck. She landed on the hood of a nearby car and promptly turned back into Ben.

Spike drove in the beginning and then Giles took his turn later. But, Xander was too motion sick to ever get behind the wheel. Giles was the one driving when it crashed onto its side. He'd been impaled by a spear from one of the knights, and couldn't maintain control of the vehicle any longer.

Gregor tried to convince Ben he should kill Dawn to save mankind. I think this was the first time Ben considered he may have to do this at some point. Gregor told him if the Key was destroyed, Glory would simply fade away. I do not think Ben realized it was that easy. He spared Dawn, but Glory broke through and took her away at the end.

Realizing that she'd let Glory get away with Dawn, Buffy sank to the ground in a daze. Willow had Tara leaning on her, and she begged Buffy to get up and help search for Dawn.
