Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Marge learned which sport because Homer gave her a birthday present of a piece of equipment for this sport?

Answer: Bowling

In "Life On the Fast Lane", Homer bought her a green bowling ball inscribed with 'HOMER'. Marge, in defiance, decided to learn how to bowl. This resulted in her almost having an affair with her instructor, Jacques.
2. In what sport does Homer become the team's mascot?

Answer: Baseball

He dances for the Springfield Isotopes in "Dancin' Homer". He gets to follow the team to Capitol City, meets the Capitol City Goofball, and realises he can't make it in the big time.
3. Bart and Todd Flanders experience an intense rivalry in mini golf. What does Homer name Bart's putter?

Answer: Charlene

In "Dead Putting Society", they both enter a competition at Sir Putt-A-Lots. They decide to call it a draw, and this results in Homer and Ned mowing each other's lawn in their wife's Sunday dress.
4. Homer discovers Lisa is quite accurate in picking the winners of which sport?

Answer: Football

This brings the two closer together as she helps Homer win money in bets from Moe in "Lisa the Greek". Lisa then realises Homer has been using her for this purpose and didn't really want to spend much time with her at all.
5. When Homer and his friends join the nuclear plant's baseball team, he also makes himself a special bat. What was the name of the bat?

Answer: Wonderbat

In "Homer at the Bat" his Wonderbat helps the team to make the final against Shelbyville Nuclear Power Plant. Mr. Burns bets on the outcome of this game and tries to sign up major leaguers to play for the team.
6. Lisa joins a junior ice hockey team (as goalie) for extra credit in gym. Who does she replace?

Answer: Milhouse

In "Lisa on Ice", Bart had knocked out Milhouse's teeth when they played each other. Lisa plays for Apu's team and Bart plays for Chief Wiggum's team.
7. Homer starts his own bowling team called what?

Answer: Pin Pals

Pin Pals consists of Homer, Moe, Otto and Apu. Otto is replaced by Mr. Burns when Burns realises Homer took his $500 for the registration fee. This is in the episode "Team Homer".
8. Homer becomes a professional boxer. Who is his trainer?

Answer: Moe

In "The Homer They Fall", he realises that he can take punches without feeling pain. Moe, who used to be a boxer himself, trains him and Homer attempts to fight the heavyweight champion Drederick Tatum.
9. Homer starts coaching a football team and replaces Nelson at quarterback with Bart. Characters from what other TV show make a cameo at one of their games?

Answer: King of the Hill

They play a team from Arlen, Texas, where the Hill family comes from. This is in "Bart Star".
10. When Homer and his new friend Wally organise tickets to the Superbowl, do we (as the viewers) actually get to see any football?

Answer: No

In "Sunday, Cruddy Sunday" they go to the football where Dolly Parton is the half-time show, and it is commented (by the sports commentators, John Madden and Pat Summeral - thanks to jsonitsac) that you don't actually see any football or singing.
11. What sport does Homer score a perfect round/game in?

Answer: Bowling

In "Hello Gutter, Hello Fadder" he bowls a perfect game. This gets him in trouble with Marge because he told her he was working late, and she saw him at Barney's Bowl-A-Rama on the television news.
12. Homer gets a tennis court built in the family's back yard. They decide to enter a tournament, and which famous players end up playing for them?

Answer: Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi

In "Tennis the Menace", Homer gets tennis confused with foxy boxing. Marge doesn't think Homer is a very good tennis player and they lose most of their matches to other couples in Springfield.
13. To what city does Homer discover the Duff Corporation are planning to move the Springfield Isotopes to?

Answer: Albuquerque

Homer then goes on a hunger strike in "Hungry, Hungry Homer" to protest against this.
14. Lisa poses as a college student to impress other girls she met through which sport?

Answer: Gymnastics

"Little Girl in the Big Ten" sees Lisa join a gymnastics class so that she can pass PE as school. She discovers her new friends are actually very small college girls.
15. Who goes to a WNBA game and prays their way into winning a half-time money shot?

Answer: Ned Flanders

Homer then decides to pray for anything and everything (hence the episode name, "Pray Anything"). This leads to a lawsuit against the church and Homer owning and living in the church.
