The "Starsky and Hutch" pilot originally aired on ABC on April 30, 1975. The pilot was actually shown about five months before the first episode which aired on ABC on September 10 of the same year. In the pilot, the part of Captain Dobey was played by Richard Ward who was replaced by Bernie Hamilton for the next episode.

Antonio Fargas was born on August 14, 1946 in New York City. He is best known for his role of Huggy Bear on "Starsky and Hutch." He did, however, have a small role on "All My Children" as Les Baxter.
