Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Harvey Specter is considered one of New York's most brilliant corporate litigation lawyers, but what's his unusual middle name?

Answer: Reginald

Gabriel Macht portrayed Harvey Specter in "Suits". Harvey is generally considered to be the "best closer" in New York and by season 3, was a named partner at "Pearson Specter". Harvey started his career in the mailroom of a law firm, where he met Jessica Pearson, who was impressed with his ethical judgement of an associate who backdated a letter and agreed to pay for him to go to law school.

Harvey often refers to Michael Jordan as his client, and claims to have him on speed dial.
2. Mike Ross was hired as an associate lawyer by Harvey Specter after he accidentally gate-crashed an interview whilst on the run with a briefcase full of drugs in season 1 of "Suits". Harvey knew of Mike's lack of legal qualification right from the start, but who else knew from the day he was hired?

Answer: Donna Paulsen

Donna Paulsen had been Harvey's secretary since his days at the District Attorney's office. She is perceptive and sharp and is able to hold her own against Harvey's sharp wit. When Mike entered the interview room, she mistook him for a Harvard interviewee, but she trusted Harvey's judgment enough to follow his lead in keeping Mike's secret.

Outside of the office, Donna has been known to introduce herself as "Harriet Specter" and describe herself as a lawyer like Harvey for fun.
3. Which partner loves mudding and had a cat named Bruno?

Answer: Louis Litt

Louis is portrayed as both villain and victim at various times. He reveres Harvey and often refers to him as his best friend, much to Harvey's chagrin. He also gets on well with Rachel Zane, who shares his love of ballet and opera.

A lover of cats and mudding, Louis is very pedantic and often snobbish. However, he is a dedicated, hard worker and very loyal.
4. From which law school must all associates have graduated in order to work at Jessica Pearson's law firm?

Answer: Harvard

Pearson Hardman (later Pearson Darby and then Pearson Specter) only recruits from Harvard. However, Rachel Zane asks Jessica Pearson to bend this rule for her in season 3.

Mike Ross was accepted to study law at Harvard at one time, but lost his place when, in an act of loyalty to his best friend, he was kicked out of college for allegedly illegally selling a test paper.
5. Whose father is named partner at a rival law firm to that at which they work?

Answer: Rachel Zane

Rachel's father is Robert Zane, a named partner at Rand, Kaldor and Zane. Rachel is usually reluctant to tell anyone about this as she prefers to earn her living and reputation independently.

In season 4, Rachel tells Mike that Robert is not someone to whom anyone would want to owe a favour, implying that he is tough.
6. Which English lawyer described Donna Paulsen as having "a body like Elizabeth Hurley and the sass of a Maggie Thatcher" in season 3?

Answer: Stephen Huntley

Stephen Huntley turned out to be a crook, but not before he's dated Donna and tried to help Harvey oust Jessica Pearson from the firm. He was sent to New York in season 3 as Edward Darby's "fixer" when Darby's firm merged with Pearson Hardman (creating Pearson Darby).
7. Who told Jessica Pearson that Mike did not have the required qualifications to become a lawyer at the end of season 1?

Answer: Trevor Evans

Trevor Evans was Mike Ross' best friend for many years, but following Mike's romance with Jenny, Trevor's ex-girlfriend, their friendship turned sour. Trevor got his revenge by disclosing Mike's secret to Jessica Pearson in the season 1 finale.
8. What is Louis Litt's favourite catchphrase?

Answer: You just got Litt Up!

Katrina Bennett, one of Louis' associates, bought him a mug that said "You just got Litt up!" in season 3. He once managed to get the phrase registered as a trademark.
9. Where did Harvey Specter work before he became an associate at Pearson Hardman?

Answer: New York District Attorney's office

Although Jessica Pearson had agreed to pay for Harvey's law school tuition on the condition that he work at her firm on graduation, she sent him to the New York District Attorney's office for experience prior to his starting as an associate. this almost backfired, as he worked there for two years, enjoying his role.

It was only when he discovered corruption within the DA's office that Harvey was leave.
10. Jessica Pearson and Daniel Hardman ousted three named partners in order to create Pearson Hardman. What was the firm called before the ousting?

Answer: Gordon Schmidt Van Dyke

Over seasons 1 to 3 of "Suits", the firm's name changed a number of times. Named partnership is often used as a bargaining tool by the senior partners. Just before Harvey left the DA's office, Jessica Pearson and Daniel Hardman staged a coup against Gordon, Schmidt and Van Dyke.
