Monica thought it was something he made up but he tells her it's a real award and has been since 1998. Rachel then comes out from the bathroom and he says to her, 'Hey Rach! Rach! I'm up for a Soapie!' Rachel is shocked and says, 'Oh my God! Oh my God! That is like the third most prestigious soap opera award there is!' Joey then says, 'Thank you! Well, I guess now I know who I'm taking to the awards' and points to Rachel.

Ned then asks Ross to cut him some slack because he's in love. Ross tells him he's sorry but that's not his problem but then Ned tells Ross he's in love with him and Ross says, 'Well that brings me in the loop a little.'

Rachel is shocked because he named her name fourth in thanking them but says, 'Look at you with your little maple syrup award!' She also tells him he shouldn't feel embarrassed because she does the same thing with her shampoo bottle.

Later on Monica asks her how her date went with Jake and Phoebe tells her, 'We couldn't keep our eyes off each other all night and then every once and a while you know, he'd kinda lean over and stroke my hair and touch my neck.'
