1. Paladin

Answer: Richard Boone

Richard Boone (1917-1981) was an American actor who played in over fifty films. "Have Gun - Will Travel" ran from 1957-1963. The name Paladin was taken form the knight warriors in Charlemagne's court of the 9th century. Paladin was a gentleman gunfighter, but also a mercenary gunfighter who traveled the west helping solve peoples problems, usually against unscrupulous adversaries.

Jack Kelly (1927-1992) starred opposite his TV brother, James Garner, as Bret Maverick in the "Maverick" series that ran from 1957-1962. He later pursued a political career and served as mayor of Huntington Beach, California from 1983-1986.
3. Lucas McCain

Answer: Chuck Connors

Chuck Connors (1921-1992) was not only an actor and writer, but also a played professional baseball (MLB) and basketball (NBA). He had an acting career that spanned over 40 years but is best known for his role as Lucas McCain in "Rifleman" which ran from 1958-1963.
4. Cheyenne Bodie

Answer: Clint Walker

Clint Walker is a retired TV and movie actor. He starred as Cheyenne Bodie in the TV series "Cheyenne" (1955-1963). He starred in a number of movies including "Yellowstone Kelly" (1959), "None but the Brave" (1965) and the 1967 war drama "The Dirty Dozen".
5. The Virginian

"The Virginian" was broadcast from 1962-1971 and throughout the series his real name was never revealed. He was the tough foreman of the Shiloh Ranch. James Drury and Doug McClure (Trampas) were the only actors that stayed through the nine seasons of the series.

Eric Fleming (1925-1966) was an American actor mainly known for his role as Gil Favor, the trail boss in the series "Rawhide" (1959-1966). Sadly, he drowned when filming a movie in Peru in 1966.

Answer: Dale Robertson

Dale Robertson (1923-2013) was an American actor best known for his roles as Jim Hardie in "Tales of Wells Fargo" (1957-1962) and as Ben Calhoun in "The Iron Horse" (1966-1968). In "Tales of Wells Fargo", Jim Hardie portrays a Wells Fargo special agent and company trouble-shooter.
8. Bronco Layne

Answer: Ty Hardin

The series "Bronco" ran from 1958-1962 starring Ty Hardin as Bronco Layne (a former Confederate officer) who roamed the wild west meeting many well-known individuals. Ty Hardin served in the Korean War with the United States Army.
9. Sheriff Clay Hollister

Answer: Pat Conway

Pat Conway (1931-1981) starred in the TV series "Tombstone Territory" (1957-1960) as the sheriff. Tombstone was one of the Old Wests most notorious towns which had the gunfight at the OK Corral and became known as "the town too tough to die". During his career Pat Conway guest-starred in many other western TV series including "Rawhide", "The Texan", "Laramie", "The Iron Horse", Branded" just to name a few.
10. Wyatt Earp

Answer: Hugh O'Brian

Hugh O'Brian is best known for his portrayal of Wyatt Earp in the TV series "The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp" (1955-1961). He had an acting career that spanned from 1948-2014. Interestingly enough, he played the role of the last character (Jack Pulford) that John Wayne ever killed on screen in "The Shootist"(1976).
