Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What is the name of Stephanie's third grade teacher who suggests that Stephanie get reading glasses?

Answer: Mrs. Claire

This episode entitled, "Stephanie Gets Framed" aired January 25, 1991 during season four. This episode includes Jaleel White (Steve Urkel) as a guest star. Urkel tells Stephanie that "the trick is to make them laugh with you, before they can laugh at you." Stephanie takes all of Joey's joke glasses to school, but they are confiscated by Ms. Claire, played by Cynthia Steele. Ms. Wiltrout is Michelle's Kindergarten teacher played by June Lockhart, and Mr. Lowry (Philip Levien) is Stephanie's teacher in the 4th grade. Mrs.

Henry is a name I made up.
2. In the season one episode entitled, "Jesse's Girl," Stephanie and D.J. eagerly await the airing of a specific movie. Unfortunately, a thunderstorm knocks out the cable, and they miss the movie. Joey acts out the scenes to try to appease Stephanie who is devastated. Which movie were they hoping to see?

Answer: The Wizard of Oz

This episode originally aired November 6, 1987 and is shown through a flashback to the day's earlier events. Joey runs around acting like he is in the middle of a tornado. Interestingly enough, "The Land Before Time" didn't come out until 1988, so that answer is clearly impossible.
3. In season eight, The Rippers eventually vote Jesse out of the band. Which "blast from the past" child star replaces Jesse as lead singer?

Answer: Barry Williams

I think they should have gone with David Cassidy, but the band was renamed "Barry and The Rippers." Greg Brady strikes again! This episode first aired September 27, 1994 and is entitled, "Comet's Excellent Adventure." I for one was eight years old at the time, and I remember being absolutely riveted. "April girls" - I still love that song.
4. On Jesse's 26th birthday, everyone asks him for help with something, and Jesse gets completely overwhelmed. What does D.J. need Jesse to do?

Answer: Coach her soccer team

Although Jesse has done all of these things, in this particular episode, D.J. wants him to coach her soccer team. I can still picture her in her uniform. D.J. certainly does seem to be a "jack of all trades."
5. What is the name of the camp that D.J., Stephanie, Michelle, Kimmy, and Steve go to?

Answer: Camp Lakota

The kids are all so sad to come back from Camp Lakota that they happily volunteer to go back to the camp with Steve to set Michelle's bunny free. Unfortunately, when they get there, they learn that the summer season magic is gone. "It was a Dark and Stormy Night" originally aired on September 14, 1993.
6. What is Joey's name for the car that Stephanie drives into the kitchen?

Answer: Rosie

"Honey, I Broke the House" originally aired on April 9, 1990. At four years old, this is the first episode that I remember watching, and I watched it again and again and again. I still think of this episode when I hear "Blame it on the Rain" by Millie Vanilli or "Straight Up" by Paula Abdul. "There's a car in the kitchen!" "Yeah, and there's a bus in the bathroom." - Definitely a classic.

Bullet is the name of Danny's car, and Nick comes into play when Stephanie says, "Hi Rosie!" To which Joey replies, "Nick!." Stephanie answers, "Sorry, hi Nick." And Joey explains, "No, Steph, there's a nick in the paint."
7. Teddy is reluctant to tell Michelle that he is moving to Amarillo, Texas, but Michelle senses that something is going on. What makes Michelle suspicious of Teddy's actions?

Answer: He tells her that he can't go to Happy Mountain

Michelle and Joey invite Teddy to Happy Mountain, but he tells her that he has to do something and can't go. Michelle doesn't buy the story because Teddy loves Happy Mountain. Finally, Teddy tells Michelle that his family is moving to Amarillo. Later on, Michelle tries to kidnap Teddy, but she finally realizes that her plan won't work.

The two kids exchange stuffed animals and promise to always be best friends. Teddy is played by Tahj Mowry, and "The Long Goodbye" originally aired September 29, 1992.
8. In "The Hole-in-the-Wall Gang" episode of season four, which of these is NOT a strategy that Michelle uses to keep Danny from going upstairs?

Answer: Singing him her graduation song

My favorite episode of all-time aired March 1, 1991. Stephanie and D.J. argue over some of Danny's shirts and put a hole in the wall. Michelle tries to help get the girls out of the jam by stopping Danny from going upstairs. She originally says, "I can do a cheer! Go team, go!" He is only slightly amused so she says her phone number.

When he still tries to go upstairs, Michelle says her phone number with her eyes closed - 555-2424. When Danny proceeds for the stairs anyway, she tries to stop him by saying, "you can NOT go upstairs." Danny picks Michelle up and says, "oh yes, I can."
9. In the season seven episode, "Be Your Own Best Friend," who does Michelle outline for her project?

Answer: Comet

Initially when learning about the project to trace a best friend, Teddy and Denise compete over which of them gets to outline Michelle on the large white paper. Eventually, Michelle takes advantage of the situation and the kids get mad, so they decide to outline each other, leaving Michelle out. Michelle decides to outline Comet.

In one of my favorite Mary-Kate Olsen moments, Michelle presents the dog outline to the class saying, "THIS is my best friend." The whole class laughs at her, and Danny tells them that everyone can have more than one best friend.
10. In season four's "Slumber Party," which town is Becky stuck in?

Answer: Placerville

Becky tells Stephanie that she is in Plasterville because her car broke down. Joey tries to take Stephanie to the mother/daughter slumber party in Becky's place, but things don't go well, and Stephanie runs home crying. D.J. talks to her and eventually takes her back to the party. This season four episode originally aired October 12, 1990.
