When Jimmy arrives at the Mott Estate he's brought directly to the Tattler sisters, much to his surprise, and he finds them enjoying a meal in Dandy's room. Jimmy urges them to leave, but Bette is hesitant since a life of being gawked at would likely be no different if they stayed or went. Jimmy quickly realizes that Dandy may have actually been the second clown from Halloween night, but the Tattlers don't leave until Dandy reveals he knows about Dot's eagerness to get the separation surgery. His breaking into the diary is revealed, and while Bette admits she loves Dandy, she loves her sister more.

Answer: Nirvana

Jimmy, taking to the stage, sings Nirvana's "Come as You Are" while Elsa watches from the seats in the crowd. Jimmy insists that he'll perform mid-show and Elsa jokes that it wouldn't happen. What she doesn't know is that Jimmy uncovered the truth. In front of the other freaks, he brings Bette and Dot in and asks them to tell their story. Fortunately for Elsa, they lie and say that they wanted to live with Dandy to experience the finer things in life.

They decided to come home since that was what they wanted more. Across town, Dell waits for Andy to return to the bar but he never does. Stanley watches on from a nearby booth.

Answer: Ethel's doctor

Ethel and Desiree make their way back to the doctor's office in Jupiter only to be faced with a bit of a shock-- his practice is closed for business. They let themselves in only to find his daughter emptying his office; he committed suicide, sticking a shotgun into his mouth and pulling the trigger, but not before smashing his hands. What they don't know is that Dell was responsible for the hand injuries. Back at the freak show grounds, Stanley decides to have a chat with Dell and make it clear that he knows the secret behind his sexuality. Before Dell can smash Stanley with the test of strength mallet, Maggie intervenes.

Taking Dell to the big tent, Stanley reveals a gun and says that he is, essentially, bound to do what he says or else face blackmail and ridicule. Stanley asserts that one of the other freaks needs to be dead and it needs to be clean since they need to disappear. He says that the barn a short way off the grounds is the perfect site, and he has a day to get it done.
That night, Jimmy and Maggie spend the night with one another and she, once again, urges him to leave the freak show. Jimmy knows something weird is going on but can't leave since it doesn't feel right.

Answer: Amazon Eve

Dell, aware of his lack of time in procuring a dead freak, sets out that night with a bottle of chloroform and sneaks into Amazon Eve's trailer. Unfortunately for him, the rag of chloroform isn't strong enough and Eve proves to be too much of a fighter, able to win the fight and toss Dell, the strong man, out.

The next morning, she tells Ethel, Suzi, and Jimmy and while Jimmy thinks that prison might be the best idea, Ethel is convinced that her ex-husband needs to die. Jimmy promises that vengeance will be had, but he needs to talk to him first. Dell agrees to Jimmy's offer, but only over a drink.

Answer: She wants 50% of the box office earnings

Elsa confronts the twins about their decision to lie on her behalf and she assumes it was only for the gain of their sure-to-be-had Hollywood career but Bette and Dot really don't care for stardom in that regard; they don't trust Richard Spencer in the slightest, and they like Jupiter, Florida. Bette explains that she wants to become a comedienne...and caviar for breakfast...and blonde hair...and 20% off the top of the box office. Elsa agrees to this (considering the blackmail) provided it happens when she leaves, but the girls are firm.

In fact, Dot wants 50%.

Jimmy and Dell head to a bar in town where, in a very rare moment, Jimmy has a few drinks and begins to spill the truth-- after the incident, Dell ha become a wanted man amongst the freaks. When Jimmy takes off his gloves to pour another drink, Dell takes sympathy.

They discuss the melancholy of being freaks before Dell demands Jimmy hand over the gloves and, when he takes them, he vows to protect him from anyone who makes fun of him. They have to leave when Jimmy becomes ill and, out in the alley, Dell nearly hits him in the head with a brick.

The shadiness ends when Jimmy reveals he knows that Dell is his father-- the Toledo clan was known for their lobster hands. The two of them hug it out.

Answer: Morris

The next morning, Dell and Jimmy waltz into camp singing at the top of their lungs and awakening Elsa and Desiree. Elsa and Des have no choice but to talk the men off to their beds to sleep off their drunkenness and, for the first time in twenty-four years, Dell tucks his son in.

As soon as Dell leaves Jimmy's trailer, Stanley makes it clear that the strong man is wearing on his patience. Meanwhile, Penny heads back home to pick up a few things and finds her father sitting in the living room, waiting for her.

He also insists that, since his reputation is on the line, he has no choice but to introduce her to his friend, Morris, who happens to be an artist.

Answer: Separation of siamese twins

Bette ends up getting a quick hair dye while Dot sits and waits and both Bette and Elsa make it clear that Dot is just being a humbug. Bette, in fact, refers to her and her sister as 'a before and after picture'. Leaving the tent, Elsa hands Dot a note which she hides away until later.

When Bette falls asleep, Dot reads the note and discovers that Elsa knows she wants money for something. Pepper delivers the response shortly after and it makes it clear that Dot wants to be separated from her sister. Having done the research, she wants to be placed in the hands of Dr. Sugar, who made the earlier attempt to split the Brody twins.

He lives in Chicago, and if Elsa can unite them, then she can be trusted. Morris finishes his personal best work on Penny.

When she wakes up, she's been tattooed from the neck up and her tongue has been forked.

Stanley and Elsa have a dinner but it's obvious that Elsa isn't happy. She says that the girls are set on destroying her and she urges Stanley to get into contact with Dr. Sugar to send them away. In passing, Stanley drops the hint that perhaps it's a good idea to euthanize the girls. Elsa calls it quite a solution just as Ethel walks in with dessert.
Penny returns to the camp and appears before Paul. While Paul is tattooed everywhere except his face, she's the opposite; she's become Lizard Girl.
Dell heads into Ma Petite's tent to give her a gift-- a new dress-- and she tries it on, thrilled with the outfit. When Dell picks her up for a hug, however, he squeezes too hard and uses his brute strength to kill her. The American Morbidity Museum unveils Mahadevi Patel-- Ma Petite-- as its latest acquisition.
