Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. After murdering his mother, Dandy also killed who of these?

Answer: An Avon Lady

Maggie doesn't realize who Dandy is, but when he stops in for a fortune-telling session, she thinks she can recall his voice. He says that he has hurt some people badly, and he needs to know that he won't have to pay for what he's done. He doesn't tell Maggie, but he's already killed his mother...and an Avon Lady...and strung them up, sewn their heads to the same body, and made them into puppets. Maggie says he can rest easy; his indiscretion will be forgotten.

As for his past, the rain clouds will pass and all will be fine. Dandy is pleased with the fortune, thanking Maggie with a hundred dollar bill.
2. Where did Ethel hide Bette and Dot?

Answer: In a motel

Jimmy, still drunk, spends the day with Ima, feeding her while the others watch on. He stops only when Dandy walks by, whistling, and thrilled with his fortune. Jimmy can't fight back as he's too drunk, and Dandy says that, since Jimmy took his last chance of happiness from him, he's vowing to go out of his way to make sure that he'll never be happy again. Elsa and Stanley, meanwhile, after searching Ethel's caravan for her suicide note, find the twins in a motor hotel in West Palm Beach and inform them of her death, urging them to come along to an even safer place, a shack where they can get their wishes fulfilled. Elsa claims that they found Dr. Sugar and they can get their operation.
3. Jimmy, appearing at a tupperware party, hallucinates who of the following?

Answer: Ethel

Searching for the twins around the camp, Desiree and Maggie are stopped by a man named Angus T. Jefferson who, as it turns out, is Des' beau. Maggie vows not to say anything. Searching in a prop tent, the girls find Jimmy and Ima together and Maggie lets him have it. Jimmy, looking for money, heads into town to perform his services for another tupperware party but, since he's drunk, he's asked to leave early. Before he goes, he's shocked to see the image of his mother who, in her appearance, tells him not to grieve anymore.

When Jimmy departs, it doesn't take long before Dandy shows up at the door asking to use a phone.
4. Did Stanley actually contact Dr. Sugar regarding the twins' operation?

Answer: no

Heading out to a remote shack, the twins are reunited with their things and told that they'll only need to stay around until the doctor arrives. Elsa is extremely worried for the girls and feels as though she still needs to protect them, but Stanley assures her that separation will allow her to live out her dreams in Hollywood without hassle. Dot is still thrilled with the idea of being split from her sister as Stanley lies through his teeth about all of the finer details, but Bette still refuses to be a part of it since it's barbaric. Back in town, the women of the tupperware party are found massacred, butchered and floating in the pool.
5. When Dandy tells Regina that he killed her mother, what does he do?

Answer: He lets her go

Back at the Mott Estate, Dandy prepares a bath and pours the newly-acquired blood, sealed in tupperware containers, into the tub just as Regina comes into the room. She tells Dandy that she went to the police but he doesn't seem to mind. In fact, he admits to killing Dora, and his mother, and the ladies at the tupperware party, and he's finally happy.

He urges her to take a bath with him since he has no plan to kill her; he actually goes so far as to say that she's the only one who he really gave a damn about, partly because she always knew he was destined for something great.

She refuses to get into the bath out of fear and he shouts at her to leave.
6. Which sister volunteers, if it comes to it, to give up their life so that the other sister can live?

Answer: Bette

Hidden away, Bette and Dot discuss their dilemma while awaiting Dr. Sugar's arrival. Bette, of course, fears what's to come since she knows only one person can possibly survive such an operation. Dot says that she doesn't wish her sister be dead, but she can't stand their inescapable bond any longer. Bette replies that she feels the same way, but knows that she wouldn't be able to go on without her Dot and, since love is sacrifice, she's willing to give up her life so that her sister can have the best chance to truly live.
7. Who stops Dell from committing suicide?

Answer: Desiree

Back at camp, Dell tries his best to write a suicide letter but can't even figure out where to begin. The reason for the suicide plan is simple: blackmail. The previous night he was approached by Stanley who, continuing to be sleazy, said that Andy would never return to the gay bar for him.

He then took the time to proposition him. Looking up from his suicide note, Dell sees both Ma Petite and Ethel before him and proceeds to place himself into the noose hanging from the ceiling of the caravan. Ethel gives a pep talk, but Dell goes through with it anyways...until Desiree cuts him loose.
8. What does Dandy offer to Detective Colquitt if he kills Regina for him?

Answer: One million dollars

Back at the motel, Stanley prepares his boy toy to play the role of Dr. Sugar though it's clear he can't remember too much about what to say. When the fake doctor worries about cutting into the Tattler sisters, Stanley says that they're just planning to euthanize them. Regina returns to the Mott estate with a Detective Colquitt by her side.

When asked about his mother and Dora, Dandy says that Regina very likely isn't lying. In fact, she's not, and he plans to get away with it because he's utterly wealthy. Dr. Colquitt draws his gun, but Dandy gives an offer. If the detective kills Regina, he'll hand over one million dollars cash.

The officer doesn't think twice as he asks for a shovel.
9. Do Bette and Dot go through with the surgery?

Answer: No

Jimmy yells as the other freaks take down Ethel and Ma Petite's banners from the big top. Of course, he doesn't stop drinking while he does this. Returning to his trailer, he's surprised to find the Tattler sisters waiting on his bed. Dot admits that she was wrong in thinking Bette was burdening her when, really, she was completing her. Now, they refuse to separate. Jimmy, still full of sorrow, is surprised when the girls beckon him closer and say that none of them have to be alone again. Dot admits her love for him and moves in for a kiss, which she gets, but Jimmy says he can't be with them since he loves someone else.
10. In the episode, what happens to Jimmy?

Answer: He's placed under arrest

When Jimmy admits that he can't be with Dot or Bette, Dot is particularly saddened and the sisters make their way to the door. Bette takes her sister's hand as they leave, knowing they're stronger together. Jimmy, furious, throws his bottle of booze against the wall, smashing it, as the cops pull up to the grounds and take him into their custody almost immediately. Maggie comes up to help, but it's too late.

He left his glove at the tupperware party and he's allegedly guilty of killing the women there. Detective Colquitt places him into the car and takes him to prison.
