The Chrismukkah That Almost Wasn't Quiz

Near the beginning of the episode, Seth is talking about the joy of his favorite holiday. He gets on the subject of the annual dinner and mentions that the Cooper-Nicols are coming over, making the Gentile to Jew ratio too high. When discussing who else to invite over, he mentions that Alex is out of town.

Jimmy and Julie are in bed together on Jimmy's boat. Julie has a moment of doubt, wondering if they're rushing things and saying that she doesn't want to commit adultery. She rationalizes their romance as Caleb might be going to jail so they have sex.

Summer and Marissa are talking about how the holidays are going to suck, what with their boyfriends both being away.

Ryan is telling Seth that he doesn't like that Seth invited Marissa and Summer over since he doesn't want them hanging out together. They go outside to where Sandy is cooking on the grill and mention that they've invited the girls over. Sandy says he doesn't think it's such a good idea since Lindsay is involved in Caleb's case.

Right after Sandy says that he doesn't think its a good idea to have invited Lindsay over, Ryan and Seth wonder how she could be related to Caleb's case. They throw out some guesses until they see the look on Sandy's face when Seth says, "Illegitimate love child?"

Seth is unable to un-invite Summer to dinner since he sees how well they are getting along. She confesses that she believes that they are finally becoming just friends.

Ryan goes to Lindsay's house and she has made hats. She is obviously extremely excited about having a real Christmas and Ryan can't find it in his heart to disappoint her.

Before Renee can really confess anything to Kirsten, Caleb enters to tell Kirsten the truth as well. A heartbeat later, everyone else enters the room, including Ryan, Seth, Lindsay, Marissa, Summer, Julie and Jimmy.

Kirsten slaps Caleb and then Julie slaps him as well. Everyone leaves the kitchen with only Seth, Ryan, Marissa and Summer standing there. Seth and Ryan leave shortly after.

Kirsten screams at Caleb and throws a vase at him that he barely dodges in time. She barricades herself in the bathroom and Seth convinces Caleb that he should just leave.

Ryan asks Sandy if he can give it a try. He goes upstairs and at first, Kirsten won't answer the door for him. Ryan asks her if they can talk about Lindsay. Kirsten asks how Lindsay is doing and Ryan says that it depends on whether Lindsay figures out that the Cohen family is good at taking in new members. That gets Kirsten to come out.

The two go to Jimmy's boat to see if he has a generator and extension cord. Jimmy says that living on a boat requires one to have such things. He asks Marissa if she's talked to her mother and Marissa says she hasn't. After they leave, Julie emerges from below dock. Close call!

Seth walks up while Lindsay is sitting on the beach. He talks to her about how overwhelming it may seem but she has to realize that she's a Cohen now. He says this even though the Cohens are Sandy's family and Lindsay is part of Caleb and Kirsten's family, making Lindsay a Nichol. Anyway, he gives her a stocking to initiate her into the family, though the name on it is wrong.

Seth and Lindsay walk back to Lindsay's house to find it decorated with Christmas lights, ornaments and a tree for Lindsay and Renee. Kirsten, Ryan, Marissa, Summer, Sandy and Renee are waiting for them to return.
