The Conner Scrapbook Vol. 1 Trivia Quiz

The Conner bunch may all be at the bowling alley Friday night, but each has his or her own reason. Becky has a crush on Chip, the boy who works at the arcade refreshment stand in the bowling alley. After Darlene breaks this news to Dan and Roseanne, Becky has them swear not to embarrass her and to pretend not to be her parents. Roseanne honors her promise to Becky, but she still sneaks over to the arcade to catch a glimpse of Chip, in order to find out who he is she asks Darlene, who refuses to snitch, but after Roseanne's dance number she gives in.

When Dan and Roseanne are asked to send in a picture for their upcoming high school reunion Dan hires a professional photographer to take a photo of the family. The Connors dress up for the occasion and as they reminisce about the past some unknown secrets are revealed.

Dwight Goodworth is one of Dan's friends. He owns a hardware store, drives a green convertible and lives with his mother. Dwight's a good guy, but he has a lot of growing up to do because his mentality is that of a caveman. Dwight Goodworth was played by William Sadler.

Unfortunately, Ed Conner's motto spills out into his personal life and makes for a bad relationship with his son, Dan. Ed does not approve of Dan working in construction because he thinks it's too much work, not enough hours and too little pay. Even though Dan owns Four Aces Construction and he built it from the ground up, he still deals with his father's disapproval. Actor Ned Beatty played Ed Conner.

Jackie feels the weight of the world on her shoulders when a day at the mall brings her down. She meets a small town guy who made it out and made it big, so to speak, he is in the mall promoting some exercise equipment he invented. After talking to him, it hits Jackie that she is still in Lanford, over 30, and works a dead end job at a factory. Her bummed out attitude continues in a conversation with Roseanne as everyone's day takes a turn for the worst.

Roseanne and Mr. Faber, the new supervisor at Welman Plastics are butting heads because he doesn't like her attitude. When he sets the quota at an impossible level, Roseanne comes to an agreement with him that she will change her attitude if he will lower the quota.

At first things go as planned, but when Mr. Faber raises the quota again and he thinks that Roseanne's submission can be bought, he gets the unexpected. After working there for 11 years, Roseanne walks out on her job and Jackie and a few others follow.

After Roseanne quits her job at Welman Plastics, finding another job isn't easy, so when a job at a meat packing plant opens up things actually look bright for her. Things look even brighter when Roseanne's attitude lands her the job, but after a call home to share the good news with her family, Roseanne loses her job, due to lack of computer skills. It is too late though, the family has thrown together a surprise celebration for her.

After Darlene's first high school party, she and Becky girl talk and Darlene says that she once kissed Mark Winstead at a little league baseball game because he saved her shut-out. Perhaps unknown to some viewers, Mark Winstead is mentioned on the very first episode of "Roseanne".

Answer: A dishwasher

The day begins with a dented can of cranberry sauce and continues with an argument at dinner. As the traditional Conner Thanksgiving comes to a close, Roseanne looks at her family with thoughts of thankfulness... and then she sees the mess in the kitchen and ends with a punchline, she would trade any one of them for a dishwasher.

Answer: Jackie Harris will have the same initials.

Roseanne and Jackie haven't been on speaking terms in days because Jackie thinks she has found Mr. Right, Gary, and in order to keep him she is acting like Miss Perfect. Jackie realizes that she cannot keep up the act forever and she confesses it all to Gary, only he already knows and has wanted her to be herself all along. Jackie is about to go to Roseanne's to talk through their problems when Gary proposes to her, Jackie accepts and when she finally gets to Roseanne's the confrontation is behind them as the two sisters are full of excitement over the good news, including the fact that Jackie Harris will become Jackie Hall, and therefore she will have the same initials.
