Roseanne suspects she might be pregnant and she leans on Jackie and Crystal for support as she takes the test to find out. She doesn't want to announce anything to her family until she knows for sure, but they soon find out what she is up too and react selfishly to the possible news. Things become tense until the results are in, Roseanne is not pregnant after all, but she and Dan discuss what if and Roseanne shares what she would have named a fourth baby.

Dan's birthday is the topic of discussion among the women in the family, but it's the last thing on his mind, for, he knows something they don't... Roseanne has PMS!... "the horror, the horror". Written by Tom Arnold, Roseanne's real-life husband at the time, this is one of the funniest episodes of the series.

After she bumps into her ex-fiance Gary and his new fiancee, Jackie gets drunk at the Lobo and wakes the next morning to find she's done the vilest thing ever...Arnie! Arnie pops out of the bathroom in his underwear, brushing his teeth, and asks for a ride because he has dropped his keys down Jackie's toilet.

In "Take My Bike, Please" Becky objects to the spaghetti noodles with Thousand Island dressing that Darlene makes for dinner. Darlene argues that DJ loves it and Becky makes a valid point that DJ eats hair. In "Sisters" DJ has a fascination with eating cardboard, Dan explains to him that eating cardboard will lead to life on the streets and eating the cardboard box that you live in.

The Lobo Lounge is a local bar. Jackie works there after quitting her job at Welman Plastics and before becoming a cop. Roseanne has to work two jobs, daily at Chicken Divine and nightly at the Lobo. Dan's friend Chuck, played by James Pickens Jr. works at the Lobo once in season 6.

After a fight with Becky, Mark crashes at Royal's place. Roseanne forces Dan to go over and get him, but Dan becomes a navel gazer when he sees the palace that is single-guy-land. It's the first of two appearances by Ahmet Zappa.

DJ gets the part of Lancelot in the school's production of "King Arthur" and Roseanne sews the costume. When DJ doesn't want to do the play anymore because he has to kiss a black girl, Roseanne and Dan are conscious stricken and question their own views on race.

Roseanne and Dan have front row seats to the new show in town, their bedroom window looks directly into the house next door and they soon discover their neighbors are a couple of nudist. When Dan cannot bring himself to look away and most of the family has had a peep, Roseanne invites the neighbors over to explain the situation, but words get lost in translation and Roseanne turns to images to prove her point.

When Roseanne and Jackie were kids, Roseanne made up an imaginary sister named Vanessa to use against Jackie, as a way of gaining control and when Roseanne works in phone sells for the Magazine Discount House she says: "Hi, this is Vanessa from the Magazine Discount House, and since you're a preferred customer...".
