"The Goldbergs" - All About Barry Quiz

Before landing the role of Barry Goldberg, Troy had thoughts of giving up acting and was attending community college. He has been in such movies as "Bad News Bears", "Nacho Libre", "Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny", and the television show "Entourage".

Big Tasty is Barry's rap persona. He becomes Big Tasty when he's trying to spit some dope rhymes or trying to melt the heart of that special girl. In his mind, Big Tasty is the epitome of cool.

Answer: Lainey

Lainey, played by AJ Michalka, captured Barry's heart after she kissed him "in a moment of incredibly poor judgment". He's confessed his love to her, performed a love rap for her, and even kicked his own brother out of their band to try to impress her.

Answer: Twisted Sister

The two boys were jamming out to "We're Not Gonna Take It" by Twisted Sister and even got hired to play a gig at their parents' marriage vow renewal ceremony. Sadly, after Lainey and Erica were allowed to join, the boys were ousted and the girls turned it into a Bangles tribute band and sang "Eternal Flame".

Although they have great seats right on the ice, Murray likes to leave before the final horn so that he can avoid the traffic jam of people all leaving at the same time. Eventually, to show how much Barry means to him, the two stayed to see the conclusion of the Flyers/Rangers game, and sat in traffic for two hours afterward.

Barry, Naked Rob, Madman Geoff Schwartz, and Andy Cogan made up the JTP. They boasted of wild times, wild girls, parties, and more girls. In reality, they usually just stand in front of the Wawa and aren't particularly cool.

Barry and Adam navigated Germantown High School and made off with their mascot. While proudly walking up to his school with the falcon, earning the adoration of its students, Barry announced that this was the work of his crew, thereby getting his membership back. Barry then removes the "little bird hat" and, sadly, the falcon flies away.

Answer: Erica

Luckily, Barry prevented Erica from mixing the two, because in his words "when the bubbles in the soda mix with the explosives in the Pop Rocks, it triggers a chain reaction that melts your insides". Barry is then adamant that Erica be his servant due to "Bushido Code". Erica, because she's not an idiot and knows that's just an urban legend, refuses.

Barry created a game which played to everyone's strengths, included trivia (for Erica), physical challenges (for Barry), and frequent bathroom breaks (for Pops). The game was made from a combination of games such as Candyland, Battleship, Monopoly, Mousetrap, and Trivial Pursuit, among others.

Answer: Over the Top

While playing the game that he invented, Barry had to arm wrestle Erica. While Barry turned his hat around and went "Over The Top", sadly he couldn't defeat Erica because she went "Over The Top" also and took the victory. However, Barry defeated Bev at arm wrestling as he went "Over The Top" against her and achieved the win. It was later revealed that Bev let him win.
