Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts

1. In the first episode, which pub do the boys go to first?

Answer: Black Bull

The boys originally go to the Black Bull, but when Carly texts Simon, it turns out that everybody else is at the Black Horse. This episode is Will's first day at his new school.

2. What is Neil's last name?

Answer: Sutherland

Neil's name isn't said very often, but when it is, it's usually by Mr Gilbert. D'Amato is the last name of Carly, Hinchcliffe is the last name of Charlotte, and Cartwright is Jay's last name.

3. Does Jay have a sister?

Answer: Yes

He does have a sister. In season 1 episode 6, Will says 'People don't get fingered for a bet Jay, with the possible exception of your sister.' Jay takes offence to this. This tells you that Jay does actually have a sister. She is only ever seen in "The Inbetweeners Movie" and never in the series.

4. When Neil asks what Drambuie is, what does Jay reply with?

Answer: It's what benders drink

When Neil asks why they have 'What benders drink', Simon says 'Because we're off back to your house and it's your dad's favourite drink'. This is the episode where Will dresses in a suit to try and buy alcohol.

5. What is the nickname that Will is given on his first day due to the way he carries things?

Answer: Briefcase Wanker

Will gets many names thrown at him on his first day but the most memorable and used is Briefcase Wanker. Will also gets many threats on his first day such as 'You're gonna die here Will' and 'That badge makes me want to hit you.'

6. Does Neil have a sister?

Answer: Yes

Neil's sister is called Katie and she is only seen twice throughout the entire three seasons, both times at Neil's house. The boys (Jay, Will, and Simon) all think she's really 'fit'.

7. Which board game does Will think he saw downstairs in episode 1 of season 2?

Answer: Risk

Will and his friends get kicked out of a party and Will suggests playing Risk as he thought he saw the game downstairs. This is the part where Will finds out that Lauren likes Simon and not him.

8. What is Simon's last name?

Answer: Cooper

Clement is the surname of Jay's fake ID, Gilbert is the surname of the Head of Sixth, and McKenzie is Will's Surname.

9. What is the name on Jay's fake ID?

Answer: Brett Clement

You only ever hear this name once in the series and it's on the very first episode. The barman says it when Jay goes to buy a pint and hands him his fake ID.

10. Jay sets Simon up with Becky from the caravan club. How old is Becky's sister?

Answer: 13

We are told that she is 13 by Simon. He tells it to Jay as he has apparently had sex with Becky and her sister. Although when Simon says she is 13, he admits that he hasn't had sex with either of them.
