Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which one of these is the regional manager of the Scranton branch of Dunder-Mifflin?

Answer: Michael

Michael Scott is the regional manager of the Scranton branch. He's a bit crazy, insensitive at times, demanding, but definitely funny! He's done almost everything from burning his foot in a George Foreman grill to driving a car into a lake (taking the GPS instructions too literally).
2. This guy is little bit of a nerd. He lives on a beet farm, has a cousin named Mose, and once froze his girlfriend's sick cat (out of mercy). Who is he?

Answer: Dwight

Dwight Schrute, the proverbial brown-noser to Michael Scott, is the "assistant to the regional manager" even though he claims he's the "assistant regional manager". He's quirky and funny when he tried to get a bat out of the office and when he rounded up his co-workers during a "fire" (one of the employees burnt something in the microwave).
3. He used to be a temp, then got a job as a salesman but never sold one ream of paper. However, that never stopped him from becoming the number two guy in the business. Who is this man?

Answer: Ryan

Ryan Howard moved from a temp position to the number two spot after Jan Levinson was fired. He is now the current "babysitter" to the Scranton branch. He was also the same individual who burnt some food in the microwave, causing the fire alarm to go off.

As a result, Dwight jokingly sang "Ryan started the fire" to the tune of a famous Billy Joel song. He was also arrested for fraud after asking Jim to re-enter the sales stats.
4. She's the pretty receptionist who was once engaged but got cold feet. After some flirtation, she is finally dating one of the salesmen in the Scranton branch (who had a crush on her when they started working together). What's her name?

Answer: Pam

Pam Beesley is the receptionist who used to be engaged to Roy, a warehouse worker. After three seasons, she is finally dating Jim, the guy who had a longtime crush on her.
5. She comes off as arrogant, snobby, and stuck up. She works with the accounting department and loves cats. Who is she?

Answer: Angela

Angela Martin is the crabby accountant who has come across to her co-workers as rude and hard-to-please. She even tried to hold her own office party while Karen and Pam had another one across the room that was a lot more fun than hers.
6. This individual works as an accountant and was also a member of the "Finer Things Club." He is also the only gay Scranton employee. Who is he?

Answer: Oscar

To show his tolerance of gays, Michael once had an awkward moment with Oscar in an episode during the third season. Needless to say, Oscar was outraged and complained, however, the company gave him three months' vacation to keep him from filing a lawsuit.
7. He is one of the well-known salesmen. At the beginning of the third season, he was transferred to the Stamford branch only to return back to Scranton. He has a friendly rivalry with another well-known salesman. Who is he?

Answer: Jim

Jim Halpert also had a long-standing crush on Pam and finally got to date her at the start of the fourth season. He has a friendly "rivalry" going on with his deskmate, Dwight and has played several pranks on him. Prior to leaving Scranton for the now defunct Stamford, CT branch, he took some of Dwight's stationary and faxed them to him saying that the coffee was poisoned (addressed from "Future Dwight), which resulted in Dwight "saving" one of the salesmen as he was about to drink his coffee. In the first episode, Jim encased Dwight's stapler in Jell-O.
8. She is a "recovering alcoholic," brought her son to "bring-your-daughter-to-work day" (he was suspended from school), and gave her boss a little "show" at the Christmas party. Who is she?

Answer: Meredith

Meredith Palmer is the red-headed office worker with a weakness for alcohol. She flashed Michael at one of the company Christmas parties and was seen canoodling with the captain of a ship on the "Booze Cruise" episode. Although her character doesn't have a lot of air time, she still cracks me up.
9. She used to have the number two position with Dunder-Mifflin until she was fired. After a breast-augmentation surgery, she dated one of her former employees. Who is she?

Answer: Jan

Jan Levinson got fired from the number two spot and started dating Michael after her breast augmentation. She tried to get her job back through legal means but as usual, Michael messed it up. The risque picture of her at the Sandals Resort with Michael also circulated around the workplace as well.
10. He moved to the Scranton branch after the Stamford branch closed. Due to a temper flare, he was ordered to take anger management classes. Who is he?

Answer: Andy

Andy Bernard also had some friendly competition with Dwight over who was Michael's right-hand-man. Jim then played a prank on him by hiding his cell phone in the ceiling and calling it (Andy got angry and punched a wall in frustration).
