It's raining in the O.C. which is something it rarely does. Seth looks out the window and tells Ryan (on the phone) that it looks like the opening sequence from "The Day After Tomorrow." In actuality, the opening scene in "The Day After Tomorrow," which stars Dennis Quaid and Jake Gyllenhaal, takes place in a snow covered region.

The rain doesn't come into the movie until several scenes later.

They run into (not literally) a roadblock and are forced to turn around and rent a motel room together. They do wreck later on in the episode but that takes place the next day.

Seth tried to sell the Summer Breeze at the end of season one in order to raise money for Ryan and Theresa. That plan doesn't work out so he sets out to sail to Tahiti in the season one finale. We learn in the season two premiere that he sold the boat on his way to Portland for bus fare.

He decides that buying it back for Summer would be the ultimate romantic gesture, since it was named after her. He tracks it down and buys it back but its new name is Gimme Sex.

Summer then sees a little boy playing with a toy horse (like Captain Oats) with comic books spread out on the floor around him. She realizes she wants to be with Seth, so after apologizing to Zach, she leaves the airport.

Seth was watching TV and the satellite started messing up. So he put on his Spider-Man mask and climbed onto the roof of the house. He tied a rope to his waist and then to the roof. Before he can fix the satellite, he slips and falls off the roof and is left hanging upside down by the rope.
