"The Talent Search" Part 1 of 2 Quiz

Anthony was Shana's love interest who also directed films and television which is where he mentioned Shana to Liz Stratton. Shana had serious doubts about leaving the group, considering they had a tour coming up. Jem suggested that they have a talent search.

Pizzazz was concerned that The Holograms were getting tons of free publicity because of The Talent Search. Eric then said they were going to clubs to search for a new Misfit.

Anthony was directing her new miniseries and told her of Shana's designs. So they went to Liz Stratton's house for the interview. She was worried about the upcoming tour and Jem suggested a talent search which made Shana more depressed because she felt that they didn't want her anymore so she left.

Stormer saw the poster "The Tinkerbillys. Direct from London." Eric: "Forget it Stormer, they're nobodies." Then they heard the saxophone and Stormer loved it. After some club goers didn't particularly care for Jetta's saxophone playing, Jetta started waving her saxophone at the crowd. Then all of the sudden the Misfits were on the stage and together with Jetta sang "I Like Your Style".

Answer: Her father

Her father always encouraged his daughter Carmen "Raya" Alonso. Mr. Alonso's voice was done by Edward "Buster" Jones, who did numerous voice work on "Transformers", "GI Joe", "Extreme Ghostbusters" and "Captain Planet". He also starred in the 1979 version of "Captain America", starring Reb Brown as the lead.

Aja was delivering more flyers for the talent show to a musical instrument store. Aja heard Craig Philips' drum playing and asked that he audition for the talent show. He said he was only in town to visit his sister.

Jetta and Pizzazz were looking for their advertisement. Pizzazz: "Misfits add new member. Right next to an ad for underwear. The Jem semi-finalists got the front cover." She then turned the magazine around to show everyone else and Stormer recognized one of the semi finalists and ran out of the office.

Shana was angry at Liz Stratton for being unsatisfied with the first batch of Shana's designs and ordered Shana to redo everything by the next day. She threw down a spool of thread as Anthony walked in.
Shana: "She's impossible!"
Anthony: "There's not much I can do. She's also the producer."

Answer: Brother

Stormer was actually Mary Philips and just as Pizzazz was figuring out the name "Philips", in walked Stormer and Craig. She said, "Hi everybody, I'd like you to meet Craig Philips, my brother." Eric tried to pay Craig to find out who Jem was and Pizzazz was threatening to kick Stormer out of the Misfits unless she could convince Craig to help them.

Answer: Orchids

Raya's father had a nursery complete with roses, orchids and other flowers. The line was so long, Raya gave up quickly, believing there was no use. Mr. Alonzo didn't want her to give up, believing it was never too late. He took two potted orchid plants with the story that it was a special delivery for Jem and the Holograms.

After winning a spot as a semi finalist, Raya and her father left and at the elevator Mr. Alonzo realized he left the orchids. Raya went to get them and accidentally saw Jem change to Jerrica.
