Doug quickly ducking into one of the first places he saw, which was the IPS garage, where he first saw Deacon preparing for his work shift. Doug asked Deacon if he could borrow on of his IPS uniform shirts (to prove to Carrie that he worked for IPS) to which Deacon replied, "Do I know you?".

When Deacon stepped away, Doug took a shirt from his locker and put it on just as Carrie entered the garage. Deacon returned to find Carrie questioning Doug about whether or not he worked for IPS.
