Answer: On a plane

Toby was on a plane that was about to land. The stewardess asked him to please turn off his computer, but Toby kept typing anyway. Then, another stewardess came up to him and said a message was patched to him through the cockpit from POTUS and Toby whips out his cell phone.

When told that the cell phone could wreak havoc o the plane's navigational systems, Toby replied that "you're telling me I can flummox this thing with something I bought at Radioshack?"

Answer: The gym

They were both running on treadmills and he told her that he thought her pager was going off. When she went to check the page, she stopped running and fell off the treadmill.

Answer: His granddaughter

The President was talking about how his granddaughter had given a little interview for one of those teen magazines and how she had mentioned something about her views on a woman's right to choose (his granddaughter is quite precocious). A Right to Life fringe group then sent his young granddaughter a Raggedy Anne doll with a knife in its throat, which upset the family greatly.

Answer: Mrs. Landingham

Mandy just didn't reappear for the second season. The Vice President resigned as he had been caught having an extramarital affair. And Danny left for another job, but then reappeared in a Santa suit to surprise CJ.

Answer: Josh

Josh had gone on "Capitol Beat" and told a religious advocate that "your God is too busy being indicted for tax fraud." This angered many religious people and many in the White House felt that the best thing the President could do would be to fire Josh and the President even told Leo to fire him. Luckily, Leo was able to talk the President down from that and by the end of the episode (and after the President 'told off' the Christian fundamentalists that had been invited o talk with Josh), the President just told Josh not to do it again.

"The Long Goodbye" She met up with him at the airport and helped her deal with her father whose Alzheimer's was getting worse.

Answer: Ecstasy

The ecstasy that her boyfriend had given her was actually GHB (switched by those working with the kidnappers) and when Zoey went to the bathroom, she was abducted and one of the Secret Service agents was killed.

Answer: Josh

We know the President is Catholic as he called on the Pope and through other scenes in the show. Leo was described as being a typical Irish-Catholic. In one scene of the show, Josh is listening to Schubert's "Ave Maria" and asks CJ if she knows the piece. CJ replies that she's Catholic. (So it's implied that all Catholics know it!)

Answer: cookies

In the second episode, Toby wasn't allowed to have a cookie as he had said something about sarcasm and 'a woman of her age'. (Although he replied to Mrs. Landingham's "and what age would that be?" with "late 20s.")

Answer: Little Drummer Boy

This is my favourite scene of the entire series. The song plays through the scene which cuts between shots of the funeral and shots of the staff in the Rotunda. It's a very powerful scene that I'd recommend anyone watch, whether a fan of the show or not.
