1. What was the premise of the series?

Answer: It was about the Pony Express.

This was about a fictionalized group of Pony Express riders, though a few characters were based on real people. The female doctor answer was "Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman" and the gunslinger who inherits his sister's children was also a series starring Lee Horsley. This series was "Paradise" (later renamed "Guns of Paradise").
2. Who was the "supervisor" of the riders?

Answer: Teaspoon

Teaspoon was in charge of training and supervising the riders.
3. Which of these up and coming young actors/actresses were not featured in the show?

Answer: Colin Firth

Stephen Baldwin played William F. Cody, and Josh Brolin played James Butler Hickock. Melissa Leo was only on the series the first season, she played Emma. While in real life Cody did ride for the Pony Express, Hickock never did.
4. Which character was actually a female in disguise?

Answer: Lou

Lou was actually Louise. She was played by Yvonne Suhor.
5. Later in the series a boy joined the gang. Who was this boy?

Answer: Jesse James

Jesse James was taken in by the riders...that apparently didn't keep him from turning to crime.
6. Kid was from Virginia.

Answer: true

Kid was from Virginia. This ended up causing strife between him and Jimmy later on when the Civil War was beginning to heat up because Jimmy was very pro-North.
7. What woman joined the cast in the second season to begin housekeeping chores?

Answer: Rachel

Rachel was a reformed gambler and con artist who the riders took in and helped out.
8. What was the name of the woman who claimed to be Teaspoon's long-lost daughter, Elizabeth?

Answer: Amanda

Amanda tried conning Teaspoon because she thought he was worth a lot of money. In the end she was very sorry, and she helped Teaspoon and the riders.
9. What tribe was Buck from?

Answer: Kiowa

Buck was Kiowa.
10. In the last season, Lou married one of the boys. Who did she marry?

Answer: Kid

Lou and Kid had a romance going from the moment he realized she was a girl. They got married in one of the last episodes.
11. Which of the riders was mute?

Answer: Ike

It was never clearly explained why Ike couldn't talk.
12. How many of the riders died before the series ended?

Answer: 2

Ike was shot protecting Emily in the middle of season 3, and Noah was killed in the two part finale. Jesse felt guilt over Noah's death, and this led him to leave with his brother.
13. How many siblings did Lou have?

Answer: two

Lou had a younger brother and sister who she hadn't seen in years. They were with her father, a man she despised because he was an outlaw. She finally went and rescued them from him. He died, and everyone found out Lou's secret. We never hear of the siblings again after she takes them back to the orphanage to live until she can earn enough money to take care of them.
14. What was the name of the sheriff during the first season?

Answer: Sam

Sam was the sheriff. He was a reformed gunslinger. He left the second season with Emma. Apparently the two got married and moved East.
15. What major event was taking place towards the end of the series run?

Answer: Civil War

The last few episodes dealt with the coming Civil War and the tension it was bringing between riders.
