Question 4 of 20
4. Kill... run...kill, now that the village area is clear we are free to explore. Upon studying our surrounding, we are pulled into a little game called shoot the blue medallion things. Very fun. (unless you're like me and have absolutely no sense of accuracy). After we shoot at least ten of these we get the Punisher. This gun has... well nothing to get exited about, as it is basically a weaker version of the handgun. So, how much can we sell this back to the merchant for?

Answer: (One Word (ie, numerical value only))
Question 5 of 20

10. Run... enter castle... lose Ashley... Blah Blah Blah. After seeing the merchant, go through the door to witness the quietus of Luis. But what color are the pills that you take? Hint

Question 11 of 20
11. After more wandering we meet up with Salazar once again, but this time he sticks you in a room with ceiling full of spikes, slowing coming at you. Very slowly, I mean Leon and Ashley could sit there chatting about politics while drinking tea and they would still have time to shoot the little red buttons on the ceiling. (Not that Ashley would have anything good to say about politics...) Exactly how many spikes are there on the ceiling? Hint

Question 12 of 20
12. After a while, Ashley will once more be abducted, and once more, you have to save her. After taking care of the Novistadors that soon surround you, you can shoot down the hive that rests above. From this you get 4 green eyes, 3 red eyes and 2 blue eyes, which can be fitted into your butterfly lamp.

Question 13 of 20
13. After turning the gears in the tower, several Los Gonados will ambush you in the middle of the bridge. You can kill them or just run past them, but it may be worth your while to unload a few shotgun shells into them. Why? Because the Ganado with the goat mask will drop a valuable item. What item am I referring to?

Answer: (Two Words)
Question 14 of 20
14. Well after a fun little battle, Salazar will toss you down a hole into what known as the Traitor's Pit. Unless you tap the corresponding buttons (usually A and B) then you'll be impaled onto a barrette of spikes. How many spikes are there? Hint

Question 15 of 20
15. After two boss fights and a round about with a bunch of Novistadors, you get the last piece of the crown, which now becomes the Salazar Family Crown, which also happens to sell for a lot. It sells 48,000 Pesetas, right?

Question 16 of 20
16. After a few more difficult battles, including one that ends with you running away from a giant statue of Salazar, you'll find yourself face to face with... who else, Salazar. After listening to him drone on, Leon gets bored and shuts him up. How do you ask? By impaling his Right hand to the wall! Or was it his left? I'm sure it was his left right? Which hand was it?

Answer: (One Word - Left or Right)
Question 17 of 20
17. OK, lets skip ahead to the Autopsy Room on the Island. A specific code is required to pass through the door on the west. To solve the puzzle you need to create a path of colored arrows leading from the top output to bottom one. What is the exact combination required? Hint

Question 19 of 20
19. After finding your way to the Surgical Extraction room, you come across a machine that will painfully remove the Los Plagas from your body, saving you. Who built it? Why did Saddler keep it here? This is what we call Deus Ex Machina, but enough of that. Once the operation is complete, the screen will flash red for a second, telling you that you are now clean. Or was it green...? Wait, what color was it again?

Answer: (One Word - Red or Green)
Question 20 of 20
20. Fighting Saddler is fun, like stealing candy from the convenience store that yelled at you for trying to buy porn, though some may still have some trouble with him. Once you reduce him to half his health, Ada will toss you a weapon, with which you can quickly finish him off. What oh-so-familiar weapon am I referring to?

quiz
Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. As we enter the game, we meet up with a 'crazed' villager. After 'neutralizing' him we continue to the village. How many men do we end up fighting altogether? (before we reach the village)

Answer: 10

Although we meet up with 12 villagers, only 10 are men, the other two are female. Along the way we also meet up with five crows and a wolf.
2. When fighting off the villagers in... well the village, if you head towards the exit on the NE side you'll meet with an almost guaranteed end at the blade of a Chainsaw wielding Gonados. How many more times in the game will we end up hearing the sound of a chainsaw starting up? (how many more chainsaw dudes or dudets are there in the game?)

Answer: 9

I know, aggravating isn't it. Along with him, you'll face two in an arena-like area, one outside Boris Mendez's house, two will want to play in moving carts, another one in a mine and two awaiting in decrepit ruins. I find the one on the second floor of the ruins, the funniest, as he's just running around in circles swinging his saw.
3. Well, looking back on our progress so far, we realize that we'll have to deal with this and more for about another thirteen hours. But considering how cool it's been, thats not going to stop us! Unfortunately in the Japanese and German releases, they had to remove several... uh, things. Which of these were allowed to stay in those versions?

Answer: The image of Leon being cut by the chainsaw

The rating boards would not allow those to be kept as they were too gruesome. Strangely enough, those were the only thing that were cut from the game.
4. Kill... run...kill, now that the village area is clear we are free to explore.

Answer: 10000

Yeah, with the money you make from selling that thing, you could have bought (if ammunition was sold) about half the bullets you used trying to get it in the first place. If you don't want to sell it, then here are a few reasons you should. It has the same firing speed, Reload speed and capacity as the handgun, but with a lower firepower. On the bright side, it's exclusive upgrade is pretty good. on the down side, it's exclusive costs 40 000 pesetas and you need the gun fully upgraded before you can get it.
5. Well now we make a new friend, Luis Sera. Luis will end up running into you several times before the end of h- uh... yeah I won't continue that, but how many more encounters will the two off you have? (we'll count this one)

Answer: four

Yeah, if you haven't gotten that far then stop reading. If you have then you'll remember seeing him in the cabinet, in the cabin, the castle entrance and right before he is impaled by Saddler. Now take a moment to remember him... yeah that's enough. Anyway he originally worked for Ada and Wesker, stealing the 'sample' for them, but was caught trying to escape.

He also developed the drug that will halt the Los Plagas growth.
6. Behind the church where Ashley is held, along with two Los Ganados is a puzzle. If you search the gravestones and find the symbols on the twin graves, you can solve the puzzle. They all look like letters, but which of these are not used to solve the puzzle?

Answer: T

The puzzle requires you to light up the three symbols, of which resembles the letters M, S and V. The catch? You can only turn the dial in rotations of three or four. If you can solve it, you prize will be the green catseye, which can be fitted into the Beerstein to increase it's value.
7. As we make our way to the... uh, I guess the area across the lake, we get to encounter the first boss fight in the game. But you have the exclusive chance of dying before it even begins! How? By shooting the water in-front of the dock. This will cause El Lago to surface and swallow you whole. Or does it?

Answer: True

I believe you need to shoot it eight time before he will come. But be warned, there are no special button combinations to save you this time, so save before attempting this. I'm sure it is a humorous scene, so by all means, try.
8. Well, now we are introduced to a nasty new enemy, the Los Plagas. You can run from this battle if you wish, but you would be losing out on 5000 Pesetas, not to mention valuable battle experience. Later on when you encounter these in groups, you can use a specific item to dispose of these instantly. What item am I referring to?

Answer: Flash Grenade

Thats right, the Los Plagas are highly susceptible to light, hence the fact that they did not surface earlier in the game. Oddly enough, they have no real effect on Colmillos, who instead are weak against Incendiary Grenades. Go figure.
9. Well now, moving on... Ah yes now it's onto another boss. This boss' name literally translates to 'The Giant'. It's the El...El... what was it's name again?

Answer: El Gigante

Ah yes, I HATE this thing, and to make matters worse you'll encounter him... er it, twice and even thrice more times. You need to get him to bend over and reveal the Los Plagas on his back. Then just slice and dice, but be careful not to dice before you slice... in other words, if it says to tap A don't tap B or it'll grab you and throw you to the ground.
10. Run... enter castle... lose Ashley... Blah Blah Blah. After seeing the merchant, go through the door to witness the quietus of Luis. (Yeah, I know, but quietus sounds cooler) After Saddler leaves and Leon passionately yells LUIS!!! You take the pills from him and step over his body, ready for new adventures. But what color are the pills that you take?

Answer: Red and White

They are suppressant pills that will keep the Los Plagas from taking control over Leon. What happens when he doesn't take them? Well look what he tried to do to Ada. (If you don't know, he tried to strangle her)

Answer: 136

Yeah, I sat there and counted, what are you going to do... Anyway, you have about one, maybe two minutes to shoot out the buttons. After that you'll have to save Ashley from a couple of freaks driving a drill-car, which can be a little annoying, as you have to aim from behind bars, which could waste valuable time as you may have to readjust yourself.

Answer: False

All of it is true except that you only get one of the very rare blue eyes. The butterfly lamp can be obtained by back-tracking and going through one of the last three windows along the Ballroom corridor. Or you could do this before Ashley is stolen away, but it doesn't really matter.
13. After turning the gears in the tower, several Los Gonados will ambush you in the middle of the bridge. You can kill them or just run past them, but it may be worth your while to unload a few shotgun shells into them. Why? Because the Ganado with the goat mask will drop a valuable item. What item am I referring to?

Answer: Gold Bangle

Yeah, I tricked you. Unless you're really desperate for money, then it may not be worth your time to get it. After this little encounter you'll get stuck in a room with two Garradors; thats right two! Have fun!
14. Well after a fun little battle, Salazar will toss you down a hole into what known as the Traitor's Pit. Unless you tap the corresponding buttons (usually A and B) then you'll be impaled onto a barrette of spikes. How many spikes are there?

Answer: 25

On the plus side you get a crown, a spinal and a handful of ammunition. On the down side, Ammo usually means a boss fight, yeah thats right, now you've got to face Salazars right hand. Unfortunately you're not going to fight The 'Thing.' (Get it, Thing, like from the Addems Family! Ah, never mind...)
15. After two boss fights and a round about with a bunch of Novistadors, you get the last piece of the crown, which now becomes the Salazar Family Crown, which also happens to sell for a lot. It sells 48,000 Pesetas, right?

Answer: True

The crowns value rises from 9,000 Pesetas to 48,000 Pesetas, and all it needs is a Crown Jewel and the Royal Insignia. The problem? To get the Crown Jewel you need to beat Verdugo, which for some, may prove too difficult.

Answer: left

After impaling his left hand, Salazars other 'left' hand pulls out the knife and throws it back at you. While you dodge it, the whimpering Salazar and his left hand take the elevator to the Tower Apex, where they await you for a final battle. Whose final battle is up to you.
17. OK, lets skip ahead to the Autopsy Room on the Island. A specific code is required to pass through the door on the west. To solve the puzzle you need to create a path of colored arrows leading from the top output to bottom one. What is the exact combination required?

Answer: Blue, Yellow, Green, Yellow, Blue, Green, Red

This combination will get you the Freezer Card Key, which will later be converted into the Waste Disposal Key. I'm not entirely sure how you managed to do that, but somehow you did. Isn't logic fun. The other combinations won't do anything.
18. Now we really do some skipping as now we magically find ourselves in the Capsule room with Ashley. As Ada distracts Saddler, you two escape. How many red exploding barrels are there lying conveniently above the doorway for Ada to shoot?

Answer: Six

I'm not sure who laid out this building, but they did a bad job at it. After leaving Ada to deal with Saddler, you two look for a way to permanently remove the Los Plagas from your bodies.

Answer: Red

Usually red is a bad color, meaning a door is locked or you're almost dead, but I guess they switched it here. Well whatever, once that is complete, you are free to face Saddler, the final boss.

Answer: Rocket Launcher

You should remember this from about every "Resident Evil" ever made, but it still seems to come as a surprise to those playing. After finishing him off, Ada will take off in a helicopter, and hand you keys to a Jet-ski, which is conveniently located near the exit to the island.
