But as soon as the first four ships are destroyed, The enemy submarine Scinfaxi launches a ballistic missile. Just as the missile is about to hit, a laser from the Arkbird destroys it. After numerous attempts to use ballistic missiles the enemy begins launching more than one at a time, Resulting in some rookies dying. Eventually the enemy fleet becomes wiped out, Forcing the Scinfaxi to carry on the mission above water. When it surfaces the Wardog squad destroys it.

Answer: Kei Nagase (Edge)

After the prisoners are airlifted by a chopper, Edge starts getting emotional that Captain Bartlett is not with them. While flying around a missile is fired at her from a bunker. She begins evasive maneuvers like in the first cut scene of the second mission and is shot down.

Answer: He is hit by missile, and crashes plane into stadium.

Unfortunately due to the fact it's you against twenty or more fighters, the odds don't look good for Wardog squadron, until AWACS says that allied forces are on route to the airspace. After waiting five minutes, the 8492nd (a mysterious allied squadron) tells the reinforcements that it is a drill and soon Chopper is hit by an enemy missile.

He holds his ground for another five minutes but soon he can't eject and has no choice but to crash his plane into the stadium. Sadly he dies and is saluted with the missing man formation. AWACS comments that he 'was model pilot right until the end'.

Answer: Edge, Grimm and Pops

When Belka and the Allied forces ended their conflict 10 years ago (game time), Osea and Yuktobania recruited their aces to join their air forces. The 8492nd squadron are the Belkan aces recruited by Osea. Captain Hamilton was once part of the squadron, and convinces the base commander that you are all Yuktobanian spies.

After escaping with Pops, Wardog squad escapes into open airspace where Swordsman stages their deaths by telling Wardog to bail out. Your squadron is then brought on board the Kestrel to help with special operations, involving the kidnapping of the Osean president.

Answer: Sea Goblin

While you are eliminating enemy forces around the castle, Sea Goblin and the SAS soldiers infiltrate the castle in hopes of rescuing the president. Throughout the mission you can hear and see dialog from the soldiers inside the castle. After you blast a hole in the castle to get the SAS group out, Sea Goblin and the SAS team safely leave the area with the president.

Answer: Razgriz - black and red

When the president comes on board the Kestrel, it is discovered that Belka's aces, the 8492nd squadron and the Ofnir team, are the unidentified aircraft that started the war. The reason is so that Osea and Yuktobania waste all their resources and became vulnerable to invasion.

When the loyal allied forces assault the tunnel entrance they open the door for the Razgriz team to fly inside. Upon entering the tunnel, the group is pursued by Hamilton. When they destroy the controls on their way through, Razgriz finds out that Captain Bartlett is flying through the other side, in order to destroy the other controls.

After flying past each other, the Razgriz team finds out that the doors throughout the tunnel are closing and race through the tunnel, eventually coming out in North Belka.

After destroying the SOLG it harmlessly explodes into a fireworks display over the city. In the final cut scene, text comes onto the screen saying that it isn't known whether the Razgriz were Wardog squadron, as we hear that the world was once again at peace thanks to the bravery of Razgriz.
