There are bones of a dragon-like creature outside of Ugarit, but you must turn directly north, not south. You should go north for a long time and you should find a bridge. Go under the bridge and when the path splits, turn south. You should eventually be able to take a sharp, downward path that will lead to Maxxen. Before you take the downward path, move the camera around and you can find a blind man wearing blue robes.

He will offer to teach you the Merchant skill up to 7, and Shield up to 10. You can get the Lodin's Sword in Maxxen.

The Lodin's Sword is the best sword in the game, and I think you have to have it to beat the boss of Barrow Downs, because Lugash (The boss of Barrow Downs) resists almost every spell and all other weapons other than the Lodin's Sword will either miss or do little damage.

You will have to sing for her. If your Troubadour Skill isn't high enough, the other Dryads might be able to teach you. After you successfully sing to her, you will have to go and find Amaranth. When you return with the Amaranth, Pandara will give you her amulet (Pandara's Amulet). Go and give it to Ardra. I think you'll be surprised.

You have to fight an Earth Elemental, a Fire Elemental, an Air Elemental, and a Water Elemental. This is an easy way to level up you're characters if they aren't strong enough.

If you bring Dougal to this door, you'll see a cutscene where he refuses to give you back the Horn of Kynon. Then you'll have to fight him in battle, as well as some Chaos minions (A Chaos Mauler, Chaos Slayer, Chaos Sorceror, and two Chaos Spellweavers). Once you beat him, he'll be dead, and gone from the game permanently.

After you meet Ardra in Talewok, the mountains in Erromon will
change a little. There will be new items, the six treasure chests in
the place with Ramsay's Banner will have regenerated, and there will
be new monsters roaming about. These include a new, stronger type of
Hobgoblin and many of the high-ranking Chaos minions. If you're
looking to level up as well as get some treasure, you might
want to revisit this place. In the place with Ramsay's Banner and the
six treasure chests, search the pile of gold on the ground that
wasn't there before to get the Helm of Tempests.

After you defeat Shamshuk, Farris will leave your party in a cutscene (if he joined your party in Shamshuck's Tower). There's a good part though. You'll get to keep anything you had equipped to him, which includes the Jester's Mace he had. If you gain control of Alaron, leave the forest by going west and walk back to the Darkling Bog. You'll get to keep Farris, through a glitch, but if you go east instead, he leaves.

The portal in the forest will work from now on, but if Farris stayed, it probably will be dangerous to use. If he left, feel free to use it to go to the Darkling Bog.

After you defeat Lugash in Barrow Downs, there will be a Cheat Death Scroll in the room that you killed him in. I'm not sure but you might be able to get it before you beat him.
