Each of the end magnus are actually remnants of five different gods, not including Malpercio. The magnus are named Ar(arm), Le(leg), He(head), Che(chest), and To(torso). The empire ends up acquiring all five, which doesn't turn out well. The idea of promachination actually comes from the sequal: "Baten Kaitos: Lost Origins".

Answer: Geldoblame

Later in the game, Geldoblame gets what he asked for: ultimate power, and an ugliness to go with it. But in the end, Good always wins, and he falls into a burning pit of lava. He considered his subjects as nothing more than slaves. In the second game, "Baten Kaitos: Lost Origins", Geldoblame is an underling under Spiriter Verus. Giacamo and Kalas have a personal battle, because Giacamo and his cohorts killed Kalas's family. Duke Calbren is the duke of Mira, who has a grand-daughter, Melodia.

Answer: Saddal Suud, Diadem, Anuenue, Mira, Alfard, Wazn

The game starts in Saddal Suud, so obviously that is the first choice. You meet Xhela, queen of Wazn and keeper of the Ocean, here. On the second island, Diadem, Land of the clouds, you meet Gibari, fisherman and retired knight, who joins your party. Also on this island, you meet Lyude, a soldier in the Emperor's army, who betrays it to save the life of the king. On Anuenue, you meet Selena, a mercenary searching for something to fight for. On Mira, you will meet, for the second time, mizuti, masked child of the Earth. That completes the party.

The last island is Wazn, home of Xhela. You won't find out she is queen of Wazn until you arrive there. Hasselah is in the sequel. There are three other places on the world map entitled "The Greater Celestial River", The Celestial Alps", and the land of the children of the Earth.

The first two are just levels, so they don't really count as islands. The third is not an island, it is actually part of the old Earth, hidden beneath the taint Clouds.

This game is interesting in that, unlike a usual RPG, the game has a card-based fighting system. In the game, there are a lot of treasure chests with cards called Magnus in them. Each character has their own deck, and their own types of cards to use. Kalas uses swords, Gibari uses paddles, Xhela uses elemental magic cards, along with mizuti, Serena uses special gloves, and Lyude uses musical instrument shaped guns.

In really long battles, you might run out of cards. Don't worry: You will miss a turn, but your cards will reshuffle themselves.

The other types of cards are armor, split into armor that the women characters can wear, and armor that the men can wear, and healing items, which every one can use. In the game, like usual RPGs, it is possible to level up, but you can also level up your class as well. Throughout the game,you can find special magnus which enable you to proceed to the next class.

They are character-specific, so there are six for each character. If you want to level up, you must go to a blue save flower. So, if you are ever stuck on a boss, you must make the hike all the way back to a blue save flower. Each time you level up your class, the amount of cards you can hold in your deck raises, and the amount of cards you can use in one turn also raises.

In the end, each character can attack nine times in one turn, and have a total of sixty cards in his deck!

Answer: To protect themselves from the poisonous toxins of the taint clouds

Many people who play this game will assume Mizuti is a guy, but, as is later revealed, she is a girl of fourteen years old. She takes off her mask later in the game, but puts it back on, because she thinks it looks good, but that is just her opinion. Her voice is the voice of a guy and a girl together, so it is hard to tell. In the sequel, Guilo uses the same voicing technique.

Answer: Find members of his family and get them to sign the family tree

Old man Quzman is dying. Before he passes away, he wants to see his whole family again. He has a big family. It is your job to track all them down. There is a legend that once you find all the family save one, the last family member will appear at the bottom level of the tower of Zosma. Sometimes, you must complete quests for the characters to sign the tree. Once you complete a branch, go to Quzman and he will give you a magnus.

The constellation quest is for the guy in the church. Every time you give him a constellation magnus, he will give you a magnus, and at certain points, an extra magnus. Stopping the empire is really your goal from the start. Actually, it is everyone's goal except Kalas, because he only wants to kill Giacomo.

Answer: Blindness

By the end of the game, the most harmful status infliction tends to be paralysis, and nearly all the bosses have it near the end. It prevents you from blocking each attack. A full combo of unblocked attacks can lead to more than 1000 points damage. Or, in the case of the "last" boss, more than 2000 points damage! He is not really the last boss.

But the real last boss is just a finisher. He hardly deals over a hundred points of damage! Poison just depletes your health every turn, but doesn't really affect you much.

Answer: An extra winglet for Kalas

In the cabin, you are forced to fight Giacamo, Ayme, and Folon again, twice! They use something that is supposed to stop Kalas from conversing with his guardian spirit, you, which makes you unable to use spirit powers. He will die after the second battle, but before he does he asks Ayme and Folon to help Kalas and his gang as much as they can, which turns out to be very useful later on. Georg is the "father" of Kalas. Actually, Georg and Larikush created Kalas, and fee. And Giacomo, which means that Giacomo killed his own father! Malpercio couldn't fit in the cabin, and all the end magnus have all been found already.

Answer: She was once killed and then revived

One fateful night, Melodia's parents were killed, and she became an orphan. Duke Calbren, her grandfather, took her in and raised her as his own. Or so he wanted her to believe. The truth is worse. On the night her parents were killed, she was killed also. Duke Calbren, in a fit of despair, invoked the power of a god to bring her back from the dead.

He succeeded. But the voice that told him it was possible was the voice of Malpercio. He wanted to be able to manipulate and coerce her. Malpercio may have manipulated her but she is not him.

She is just a pawn in his quest to destroy the world. She doesn't have a guardian spirit like Kalas, but she showed him how to get his. He was working with her against the other party members until very late in the game.

After that, he put his all into trying to stop her. In the end, he succeeded in putting an end to Malpercio's influence on her, and together they destroyed Malpercio once and for all.

Answer: the goddess , the Great Whale

At the end of the game, Malpercio is defeated. But when that happens, the islands start to fall to the Earth. At the last second, the Five gods appear and prevent the islands from falling. They turn to stone and become part of the islands. Afterwards, every one is having a feast to celebrate the victory, when Xhelas mysteriously sets off on her own. Kalas follows her back to Moonguile forest, where she tells him that she holds the ocean inside of her, and she must release it.

The only way yo do that is if he releases it from her.

He is very reluctant, but knows that he must. Just before he is about to release the ocean, Geldoblame appears again. It turns out he is part of the earth now, and he attacks them. It is a very simple battle. He never deals more than 200 or 300 points of damage.

After his defeat, the ocean is released, and Xhela dies. Each island becomes an actual island, surrounded by water, not air. Mimai and the others change into the long lost Goddess of the sea, The Whale.

The game's final scene is in the forest of spirits, on Mira, where Kalas received his guardian spirit. Pololo the third comes running up, saying he found something. It turns out to be Xhela's pendant. Mimai and the others found her floating in the ocean and saved her, by trapping her in the pendant. Kalas frees her, and they are reunited. The very last thing we see is all the characters waving goodbye to the gaurdian spirit,you. I hope you enjoyed my quiz!
