Brad's Excellent "Suikoden II" Quiz

Gengen joins automatically after returning to the Mercenary Fort. After Riou and Jowy escape the Mercenary Fort Ellie, Rina, & Bolgan join the party temporarily then leave, they join automatically later on. Mukumuku can be recruited in Kyaro before talking to Nanami and Rikumaru can be recruited after getting back from Kyaro.

While Nanami and Riou are not related by blood they are in fact brother and sister by adoption. Genkaku adopted both of them.

Dwarves appear in "Suikoden I, III & V" and ducks were only in "Suikoden III". Nay-Kobolds, different from normal kobolds, only appear in "Suikoden IV". There was only one elf in "Suikoden II" and that was Stallion.

The four True Runes you get to control are the Bright Shield Rune, the Black Sword Rune, The Soul Eater, and the Night Rune. The Bright Shield Rune and the Black Sword Rune are both part of the Rune of Beginning. The Night Rune is the Star Dragon Sword controlled by Viktor. Luc has the True Wind Rune in this game but you do not get to control that rune until "Suikoden III". Sierra gets the Moon Rune back from Neclord but you do not get to control that rune either.

Georg did not make an appearance in "Suikoden I", although he was in the Scarlet Moon Empire before "Suikoden I" began. Georg was also the sixth great imperial general of the Scarlet Moon Empire. Georg went on to "Suikoden V". Gremio appears in "Suikoden II" if you download data from a completed "Suikoden I" game with Gremio being alive.

Kiba's death is the only one that you can not control. Ridley dies if you decide to leave Tinto with Nanami in the middle of the night. Nanami can die if you do not say the right things or do not have any armor equipped on her. During one of the cookoffs Barbara will be poisoned by one of the chefs and he says if you do not beat him in a cookoff Barbara won't get the antidote. Regardless if you win or lose the cookoff Barbara will not die.

Unlike "Suikoden I, III, and IV" there are some stars with multiple slots. Boris will take over Ridley's star spot if he dies. During a part in the game you get to choose between Valeria and Kasumi, whomever you do not choose Tomo will take their spot. You get to choose two out of three large animals Feather, Sigfried & Abizboah. Boris, one of the girls from Gregminster and one of the large animals are three extra stars so one hundred and eight plus three equals one hundred and eleven.

Viki & Vincent were not playable on "Suikoden I" and Tuta was playable in "Suikoden II" but was not playable on "Suikoden III". Yam Koo was playable on "Suikoden I" and he even has a cool unite attack with Tai Ho.

The glitch in question is known as the Matilda Glitch. When you enter the Matilda/Muse border the gate that is blocking the path to Matilda is movable. After pushing the gate you are in the Matilda territory and can now recruit Humphrey & Futch.

After you defeat the final boss the Beast Rune, you still get to walk around the world map. There are a few endings to choose from. Two of the endings require you to go to the place where "Suikoden II" began and battle against Jowy in a one on one dual. So technically Jowy is the final battle.

Before Leon gave up his blood to the Beast Rune, Jowy was saying goodbye to Jillia and Pilika. Luca Blight died way before you fight the Beast Rune.

Tir & Gremio are obvious. Pahn shows up after Tir & Gremio arrive at Gregminster. You do not need to download a "Suikoden I" save to see Cleo- just enter the McDohl Mansion and she will be there.

"Suikoden Tactics" was a side game to "Suikoden IV". "Suikoden II-2" does not exist- the name is a play on "Final Fantasy X-2". "Suikoden II, Volume 2" does not exist either but "Suikogaiden" had two parts: "Suikogaiden, Volume 1" and "Suikogaiden, Volume 2".

The first ending is considered a bad ending. If you agree to escape with Nanami at Tinto and then after you are caught at Drakemouth Village just refuse to return to the army and leave Drakemouth with Nanami, you will then be treated to the bad ending.

The second ending occurs after you defeat the Beast Rune and agree to become the leader of the new City-State. The third ending occurs after defeating the Beast Rune; go to the place where the game started, dual against Jowy, defeat him and he will die.

The fourth and best ending occurs after all the stuff from third ending happens. The only difference is to make sure you have all the one hundred and eight Stars of Destiny and that you saved Nanami. While you dual Jowy just defend and you will be treated to the final ending.

The first bath scene takes place in the Cypress Bath and the second bath scene takes place in the Jungle Bath. The third bath scene takes place Marble Bath and requires Nina to be in the party.

Viki will randomly teleport Riou to the wrong place sometimes. One of the places Viki Teleports Riou to is the blocked staircase in Radat. Items there include a Blue Gate Crystal, Dragon Armor, a Mole Suit, and a Mega Medicine x9.

The second floor is where the war room is located and different stars occupy the third floor. The fifth floor is where Riou's final room is located. The fourth floor is what Shu calls home. It is also where the statue is placed.

There really is no way to tell. Almost every character that can be recruited can be recruited at any time. Mazus, Pesmerga, & Genshu are three of the last few characters that you are able to recruit. You could recruit Rikumaru last and he is one of the first characters that can be recruited.

Antonio and Lester where the chefs from "Suikoden I". Retso and his daughter Shun Min are on "Suikoden V". Jinkai, the final chef from the cookoff, is not present in any other "Suikoden" game.
