Answer: Gregminster

Gregminster is where Barbarossa, the emperor, makes his home. Kwaba is a fortress built to enclose the empire's capital. Kaku is a fishing village near the Liberation Army's castle.

2. What are Anji, Kanak, and Leonardo?

Answer: pirates

Anji, Kanak, and Leonardo are pirates who join you at the Pirates' hideout. You must fight them with both Tai Ho and Yam Koo in your party in order for them to join. These three can make strong companions and welcome additions to the Liberation Army.

3. Flik's rune allows him to cast what type of spell?

Answer: Lightning

Flik is reluctant to accept the main character's position as leader of the Liberation Army. His nickname is "Blue Lightning". His formidable physical attack and lightning magic make him very powerful.

4. Which of these characters is not one of Teo McDohl's servants?

Answer: Mathiu

Mathiu is the military strategist for the Liberation Army. Pahn, Gremio and Cleo all worked for Teo McDohl before joining the Liberation Army with the main character, Teo's son. Teo stayed with the empire and ends up fighting his son in a major battle.

Sydonia is a bandit who works with Varkas. Qlon stands outside the Liberation Army's castle and basically serves as a greeter. Templeton's dream is to map the entire world. Humphrey, like Sydonia, is a man of few words, saying mostly "yo!" when spoken with.

Kuromimi is a Kobold. There are others like him that join the Liberation Army. Stallion and Kirkis are both elves. Viktor is a powerful human and one of the original members of the Liberation Army.

The Soul Eater rune, passed to him from his grandfather, kept him alive for an unnatural length of time. This rune is passed on to the main character and is one of the 27 True Runes.

No, he isn't the Guru of Time for all you "Chrono Trigger" fans! He plays an interesting dice game with the main character in which the player has the opportunity to win large sums of money. The rules are quite complicated at first, involving different ways of winning or losing twice or even three times your bet.

10. In a major battle, what is strong against a bow attack?

Answer: charge attack

Major battles play mostly like "Rock, Paper, Scissors". Charge beats Bow, Bow beats Magic, and Magic beats Charge. Dragon will beat anything but Bow, but is not available until late in the game and is only able to be used once per battle. Allies such as ninjas and thieves are helpful because they will reveal the next strategy to be used by the enemy.
