Answer: An overpowered version of a character

You can only play as a Red Potara character in Duel Mode and you need to use a special password to be able to use one. All their stats are maxed and they are equipped with a handful of un-gainable Red Potara that grant them immense power. They have the special stat icons underneath their health bar for the entire fight and their health and ki regenerates constantly.

It is quite fun to use them as you are so overpowered that you may never lose!

This is the same outfit that he fought his evil brother Raditz in. If you remember, he removed the weighted parts of his outfit (the blue undershirt, the boots and the wristbands) to make himself lighter and faster. However, this costume change does not make him lighter or faster in the game though!

Answer: Mid Goku (Base Form)

Yeah, Mid Goku has a Kamehameha that you can boost. To boost a move you must press the Square buton + the directional button that you see on the screen at the time of him using the move. He also goes into Kaioken whilst using this move, be sure to look out for the misprint "Kaiken Kamehameha" the next time you do this move!

Answer: He retains the pale blonde hair of costume 6 SSJ Goku from "Budokai Tenkaichi 2"

In "Budokai Tenkaichi 2" if you picked Goku with costume 6 and went Super Saiyan, then he would have pale blonde hair with no outlines. It was a very cool homage to the style of animation at the time he first turned into a Super Saiyan! In "Budokai Tenkaichi 3" Mid Goku has pale blonde hair as a Super Saiyan no matter what costume he is wearing.

Answer: His Rolling Hammer

This annoyed me greatly. Rolling Hammer is one of my most used moves and they took it off of him for "Budokai Tenkaichi 3". Other characters such as Majin Vegeta also lost the ability to use the Rolling Hammer.

In case you are wondering, the Rolling Hammer is a move that makes your fighter hit the opponent with just enough force to make them do a 180 turn. You can then attack them from behind for more damage.

In order to do a Rolling Hammer (for the Playstation 2 version of the game), you need to perform three punches (Square, Square, Square) and then press the Traingle button. In "Budokai Tenkaichi 2" you would press the left or right directional button and the Triangle button at the same time.

This is a great little Z-Item that you can wish for from the Namekian Dragon Porunga. If you have it equipped, then go into the water (if there is water in the stage you're on) and your health will start to refill! Go to the Glacier stage and you can't possibly lose the battle!

You have to be quite fast to spot this. There is a flash of thunder on both sides of Gohan as he rushes to challenge Janemba to a battle. This is Mystic Gohan's second appearance in a "Budokai Tenkaichi" game's FMV intro sequence. He was featured in "Budokai Tenkaichi 1's" intro, but not in "Budokai Tenkaichi 2's" one.

They do this while fighting each other. The camera focuses on their feet as they hop around one another. Gogeta fighting Broly in a "Dragonball Z" game's intro sequence first occurred in "Budokai 3" - the (obviously) first game in the "Budokai" series!

Yeah, he doesn't need 20,000 like most other characters do. Some characters need even less than Trunks. Characters such as Pan only need 15,000 Z Points to max out their equipment slots.

Yeah, it's taken many "Dragonball Z" games, but we FINALLY have disintegration! You don't actually see your opponent getting disintegrated... they just sort of disappear after the screen turns back to normal. However, it is very satisfying when you kill an opponent who has been giving you a hard time.

Also, clothes can get torn and ripped by some blast attacks during the fight itself.

Answer: Press and hold Circle and then press the Triangle button just as your opponent attacks you with a rush hit

This move can be annoying to do, but it looks great. If you successfully perform a Sonic Sway move, then a small cut scene will occur during which your opponent will try to hit you multiple times. Your fighter will dodge every single hit and knock them away afterwards. Also, you'll notice that your opponent loses one ki bar.

Its a shame that your opponent almost always dodges fully charged up blast moves, due to the totally revamped A.I. This Kamehameha is chargeable. If it is fully charged it will do much more damage.

Kaioken increases Goku's stats, including melee attack damage and blast move attack damage. It has been present in every "Budokai" game and in every "Budokai Tenkaichi" game. In the "Budokai" series, it was a transformation, however, in the "Budokai Tenkaichi" series, it was a power up move that altered Goku's appearance.

If you get Gohan speaking on the Press Start scren then he'll utter this when you actually press start. He sounds really cocky and sure of himself here! Among other lines you could get are Vegeta's "Hmph! I'll win!", Piccolo's "Don't underestimate Earth!" and Goten's "Attack!".

Wild Sense is a great move that makes teleporting much easier to do. You don't really have to watch your timing in order to do a teleport with Wild Sense activated, well your character will automatically teleport for you and hit the opponent as well!

Mid Goku is not early and not late. The other two Goku's have chargable Kamehameha's, but Mid Goku's one is a Boost move. Mid Goku retains the pale blond Super Saiyan hair of "Budokai Tenkaichi 2's" Super Saiyan Goku wearing costume 6.
