Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Ruddy complexion - Smaller than some - Leader of the flock

Answer: Red

Red is a Northern cardinal, a member of the original flock, and its leader. If none of your friends are playing "Angry Birds Friends", you can play against Red and Chuck, whose scores appear on the leaderboard of the Weekly Tournaments. This usually takes me a couple of tries.
2. Yellow feathers - Speeds up when screen (or mouse) is tapped - Red eyebrows

Answer: Chuck

Chuck is another original flock member, and can be very effective against wooden blocks, especially when his "speed up" function is utilised. His scores on the "Angry Birds Friends" Weekly Tournament leaderboards usually trail Red's. Luckily for me, once these birds' scores have been beaten, they stay beaten for the week!
3. More cheerful than the name suggests - One becomes three - Small but mighty

Answer: The Blues

Starting as one small blue bird, a tap causes The Blues to split into three birds, each with a slightly different forward arc. This can be very effective against glass partitions or balloons holding piggies aloft. Online research has revealed that these three sometimes go by Jay, Jake and Jim.
4. Very pale complexion - Motherly - Drops egg bombs

Answer: Matilda

White-feathered Matilda has the appearance of a mother hen, but don't let that fool you! Positioning her correctly before tapping to release her egg bomb can take out overhead structures as well as those below, due to her habit of shooting upward at an angle once it is "Bombs Away!"
5. Very dark complexion, turning ruddy when excited - explosive personality

Answer: Bomb

Poor old Bomb doesn't seem to have a name other than that, and "the black bird". Maybe that makes him angry and accounts for his habit of exploding at the tap of a screen (or mouse). He even explodes without that tap, left to his own devices. One hopes to have him on hand whenever there are stone walls to knock down.
6. Green feathers - Large beak - Ability to double back on my flight path

Answer: Hal

Hal, the Boomerang Bird, doesn't turn up as often as some of the other birds do in "Angry Birds Friends" but he's a handy fellow when he does. His boomerang ability means he can sneak up on the rear of an obstacle, negating stone walls and zeroing in on TNT crates. Even when the boomerang ability is not invoked, Hal is useful for knocking down structures or bursting balloons.
7. Red feathers - Bigger than most - Powerful

Answer: Terence

Terence, the Big Brother bird, looks a lot like an overgrown version of Red. His size means he's a lot more effective than his little brother at bulldozing walls and other obstacles. I'm always happy to see him in the queue for the sling!
8. Orange feathers - Expansive personality - Not always available

Answer: Bubbles

Bubbles responds to a screen (or mouse) tap by inflating like a balloon and destroying surrounding structures. The most effective use of this occasional asset is to fling it into the middle of a structure before inflation. If inflated in clear air Bubbles will most likely just bounce away.
9. Masked - Bought or earned - Very powerful

Answer: Wingman

Wingman is big brother Terence in a mask, and doesn't line up to be flung like the others. He must be bought from the store, or earned on the bonus wheel, at least most of the time. Usually only one Wingman can be used in a round, like any power-up, even if you have more on hand. I say "usually" because I have fond memories of one Weekly Tournament of "Angry Birds Friends" which allowed unlimited use of Wingman! What great scores everyone had that week.
10. Must be bought - Not available in Weekly Tournaments - Super destructive

Answer: Mighty Eagle

If ever one is completely stuck on a story level, it is possible to call up Mighty Eagle (after you have bought his services) and watch him destroy everything, swooping through so speedily that all you see are the feathers he leaves in his wake! The different method of calculating Eagle scores makes it impractical for Mighty Eagle to be available for Tournaments, unfortunately.
