Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which Finnish computer game development company created and develops "Angry Birds"?

Answer: Rovio Entertainment

Rovio is an entertainment media company founded in 2003 as a mobile game development studio. Chilligo is the game's distributor, Apple Inc designs and sells consumer electronics such as personal computers and computer software, and iOS is the Apple operating system for which "Angry Birds" was first developed as an app.
2. What colour is the basic, most common bird? Note: It does not have any special powers, but just flies in the direction in which it is flicked.

Answer: Red Bird

Red Bird is a staple, but its lack of special powers makes it less useful in later levels. Red Bird resembles a Desert Cardinal and its image the most commonly used mascot for "Angry Birds".
3. What is the special power of White Bird? Note: Its power is activated by tapping the bird again following its launch.

Answer: It lays an egg which explodes on contact

White Bird lays an egg which blows up anything with which it comes into contact. White Bird is the only bird to have a projectile power and its appearance resembles the oval shape of the egg it carries.
4. What, apart from the scenery, are the Angry Birds fighting against/trying to destroy?

Answer: Green Piggies

The green pigs stole the birds' eggs - those poor birds are just fighting to retrieve their babies! Whilst not harbouring any specific powers themselves, the Piggies do display more and more advanced building skills as the game progresses.
5. Some birds are more effective against certain materials. Which bird, of those listed below, has a particular effectiveness against glass?

Answer: Blue Bird

Blue Bird splits into three smaller birds and easily damages glass of the same colour. Blue Bird is also known as "The Blues" or "Jay, Jake and Jim".
6. Which of the birds listed below is most effective against stone?

Answer: Black Bird

Black Bird blows up like a bomb either on the second tap or following a few seconds of contact with the scenery. Black Bird is the only bird to be able to completely destroy stone in one hit.
7. Some of the enemies in "Angry Birds" can withstand extra damage due to their clothing and accessories. Which of these is NOT an item that might be worn by these enemies?

Answer: Beauty Spots

Those Bad Piggies can be found waring a variety of fashionable accesories, though there is somewhat of a hierarchy of power/strength visible between them. The biggest piggies, usually the "boss" piggies are usually found to be wearing crowns, whilst their seconds in command sport bushy moustaches.

The smallest and weakest pigs either wear nothing at all or accessorise with cute pink bows.
8. Hitting which of the following will unlock a bonus mini-game level?

Answer: Golden Eggs

Thes golden eggs are usually hidden within or behind destroyable scenery (such as trees) or difficult to reach with the majority of the birds. Some may also be found withing menu screens and need only be touched by the player to unlock the additional level.
9. Sometimes, it is not necessary to use a bird to blow up stone blocks. How else might you do this?

Answer: Hit a TNT crate with a bird

TNT boxes are found on various levels in strategic places. Once struck, they explode, destroying objects close by and sending things further afield flying. Striking a crate at the bottom of a large structure will destroy its foundations and cause the structure to fall.
10. What is the special power of Orange Bird?

Answer: Expands like a balloon

Orange Bird was a late addition to the game found only in later levels. Though its strength never changes, it is able to expand its body size substantially, pushing objects away/over.
