1. When you go to a certain part of the Archylte Steppe a cutscene activates and somehow Sazh knows that there are Chocobos in the area. How did Sazh know that there are Chocobos?

Answer: Smells them

After the cutscene you have to fight enemies to save the Chocobos. After you save them you get the ability to ride Chocobos to get to areas that you originally could not reach.

2. When Serah turned into crystal did Lightning think she had died?

Answer: Yes

Snow did not believe that Serah died and tried to do anything to save her. Afterwards, the party went to try to make Anima turn Serah back but Lightning, Snow, and Sazh had to fight Anima.

There are 6 paradigms when you are playing as one character. There are 21 combinations when there are two characters, and there are 56 combinations when there are three characters fighting.

Throughout the game Lightning kills soldiers with it as the gun. Gunblades are also seen in "Final Fantasy Crisis Core", "Final Fantasy VIII", and "Final Fantasy XII".

Right after the long cutscene you fight Havoc Skytank who is the boss of Chapter 7. The news tells about how the heroes have escaped and are dangerous.

Believe it or not, after Barthandelus is defeated, Orphan fuses with him and fights the main characters. After defeating him, Orphan turns into his real form and you fight him again.

Gadot's clothes are based on NBA kind of clothes and Lebreau's clothes are based on volleyball clothes. These two characters are guest party members in Chapter 1 and the only guest party members in the game.
