1. Who wrote "Spanish Castle Magic"?

Answer: Jimi Hendrix

Although there is vocals in the original recording, the Guitar Hero recording did not include any vocals. Megadeth, Motorhead and Red Hot Chili Peppers did have some of their songs on the game. Jimi Hendrix was born on the 27th of November, 1942, but sadly died at the age of 27, on the 18th of September in 1970.
2. Which band wrote "Cochise"?

Answer: Audioslave

Audioslave formed in 2001, from two bands Rage Against The Machine and Soundgarden. The band released such albums as "Audioslave", "Out Of Exile" and "Revelations". There were four members in the band, Chris Cornell, Brad Wilk, Tom Morello and Tim Commerford. They were originally called Civilian. "Cochise" was there first single.
3. Which band wrote "Unsung"?

Answer: Helmet

Helmet formed in 1989 until their break-up in 1998, then they re-formed in 2004 and released an album. "Unsung" was released on Helmet's 1992 album "Meantime".
4. Who wrote the song "Hey You"?

Answer: The Exies

The Exies formed in 1997, in Los Angeles, California. They take their name from the rock n' roll band from the 60's The Beatles. "Hey You" was released on their 2004 album, "Head for the door".
5. Who wrote "Cowboys from Hell"?

Answer: Pantera

Pantera formed in 1981 by Dimebag Darrell, Vinnie Paul, Phil Anselmo, Terry Glaze and Rex Brown. "Cowboys From Hell" was released on the album of the same name. The song was featured on the 6th tier.
6. Which band wrote "Fat Lip"?

Answer: Sum 41

Sum 41 formed in 1996 in Ajax, Canada. "Fat Lip" was released on Sum 41's album "All Killer no Filler".
7. Who wrote "Take Me Out"?

Answer: Franz Ferdinand

Franz Ferdinand formed in 2002 by Alex Kapranos, Nick McCarthy, Bob Hardy and Paul Thomson. "Take me Out" was released on Franz Ferdinand's debut album. They were named after the archduke Franz Ferdinand.
8. Who wrote "Killer Queen"?

Answer: Queen

Queen formed in 1970 in London. Paul Rodgers, the former lead singer of Free, became the singer for Queen after Freddie Mercury sadly died.
9. Who wrote "Take it Off"?

Answer: The Donnas

"Take it Off" was released on the album "Spend The Night". The album was released in 2002.
10. Who wrote "Smoke on the Water"?

Answer: Deep Purple

Deep Purple formed in 1968. "Smoke on the Water" was released on the album "Machine Head".
