Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What are the initials on the bottom of Master Chief's shoes?

Answer: MRL

To figure this out, you must be in two player mode. One person should jump on top of the other person's head. The one on the bottom simply looks up and you can read these letters very clearly. The left shoe, however, is a mirror image.
2. The chain gun on the back of a warthog was originally designed for what purpose?

Answer: anti-air

This makes them perfect for shooting down Banshees! (This is found in the "Halo" game manual.)
3. What is Private Jenkins' middle initial?

Answer: A

His full name is Private Wallace A. Jenkins. Although his name is never spoken, you can read it off either his helmet or the bottom of the video clip.
4. What are the Covenant staionary gun turrets' official name?

Answer: Shade

All of the Covenant's vehicles are named after different types of ghosts or spirits.
5. What is the official name of the Covenant's tanks?

Answer: Wraith

The Covenant vehicles are Wraiths, Shades, Ghosts, and Banshees. Phantoms will be found in "Halo 2".
6. The plasma pistol has a higher heat capacity than the plasma rifle.

Answer: False

The plasma rifle has a higher capacity. They vent heat at the same rate, however.
7. In the multiplayer map Rat Race, the only way to get over shields or active camoflauge is to jump down a hole.

Answer: False

Shooting them or throwing a grenade under them will cause them to fall down to the level below.
8. What is the maximum amount of grenades an elite will carry?

Answer: 6

A certain black elite, which can only be found in legendary mode, will carry this many. Imagine the explosion he would make if you killed him with a needler!
9. How many types of Military humans are in the game?

Answer: 4

There are technicians, light armored Marines, heavily armored Marines, and pilots. The technicians tend to cower in fear of the covenent, and the only pilot you actually see is in the escape pod on the Pillar of Autumn.
10. The needler is not the only heat-seeking weapon in the game.

Answer: True

The plasma pistol is as well, but only slightly. All plasma weapons, eccept fuel rod guns, fire a random spray when they are not locked onto a target. This makes them seem to be heat seeking when they are.
