Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What small enemy often travels in packs?

Answer: Grunts

When they are sleeping you can kill them all with a melee attack.
2. Marines are NEVER enemies?

Answer: False

In the level "343 Guilty Spark" an insane marine attacks you. He is the sole surviver of Captain Keye's group. Also if you kill enough marines on any level they turn into enemies and fire at you.
3. What enemies carry the infamous Fuel Rod Cannon and a monsterous metal shields?

Answer: Hunters

This is easily the strongest enemy. I have seen one take multiple shots with a shotgun, even a full blast of a rocket launcher. Or a good shot into its unprotected back will do the job.
4. What enemy comes in Blue, Red, Gold, and Black/Purple battle armor?

Answer: Elites

The grunts also have a wide variety of armor. Theirs is Orange, Red, and Black/Purple.
5. Only enemy Elites are cloaked.

Answer: False

On the level "The Maw" you can run to the armory to get extra rocket ammo. If you do this you get ambushed by cloaked Flood combat forms. They come through the locked door on the far end.
6. Which enemies never have shields?

Answer: Grunts

Elites are protected by a shield similer to the Master Chief's, Hunters have metal shields on their left arms and Jackels carry yellow or blue energy shields.
7. Which of the following enemies spreads like a parasite and uses fallen marine and Elite soldiers to fight?

Answer: Flood

This fact makes the Flood your toughest enemy. As long as they have atleast one arm they can fight. Also they use both Convenant and Human weapons. Dont forget they are stronger and jump much farther than the master chief.
8. What enemy or enemies are your ally on the level "The Library"?

Answer: the Monitor / Sentinels

After the Library you realize what Halo was built for and what the Monitor is trying to accomplish.
9. Which Covenant races wear the Black/Purple armor of Shock Troops.

Answer: Grunts and Elites

You see these troops in the last three levels, "Two Betrayals", "Keyes" and "the Maw". These troops were sent to wipe out the Flood on their crusier the Truth and Reconciliation. Also these grunts carry the Fuel Rod Gun.
10. During the ending sequence after you finish "the Maw" on easy, normal or heroic, are Covenant marching toward the Pillar of Autumn?

Answer: No

You see Flood combat forms and carrier forms marching toward the ship. The Covenant are attempting to abandon the ship since they realize what happens when the engines explode.
