Question 1 of 10
1. "Assassin droid, Unit 253
Condition: Good
Republic forces have overrun the area, closing fast. Six Confederacy units remain, deployed in defensive array. Republic Troops seen coming down the steps, on both sides, to our last remaining stronghold in the Courtyard. Defeat is imminent."

Where is this soldier reporting from?
Hint

Question 2 of 10
2. "This is Fin Ulrand of the Rebel Alliance Forces. We're under siege from enemy fighters. We've holed ourselves up in the Control, but our anti-air defenses have been blown. All our pilots are dead and our fighters are in enemy hands. We tried sending out a cloud car but it was destroyed before it got even 300 meters away. They'll probably send in ground forces soon."

Where is this soldier reporting from?
Hint

Question 3 of 10
3. "This is Clone Trooper Theta 269 to RAS Arrestor. We've taken one enemy strong point and Sergeant Ziki has plans to assault the other hard point from two different angles. However, there are a few problems. First off, the locals aren't very friendly. They continue to attack both sides from their huts up on the ridge. Also, there's a massive creature we'll have to go around to get there. The creature has long tentacles and will snag and consume anyone who ventures too close. I just recently saw all of the 6th recon devoured when scouting the area. We're requesting bomber support before we go in."

Where is this soldier reporting from?
Hint

Question 4 of 10
4. "Scout Trooper JJ 579 coming in. Recon details include a small rebel force advancing on our position with the aid of the locals, the short furry creatures. ETA is three minutes. Recommend power up to all base defenses."

Where is this soldier reporting from?
Hint

Question 5 of 10
5. "Jet Trooper Chi 855. The Trade Federation holds one half of the city, while we hold the other. They have to get through us to get to the palace, and that's not going to happen. It's my job to jump the rooftops and balconies and recon the enemy troop movements and relay them back to the defense force so they can better prepare for the attacks. If worst comes to worst, I can use my EMP Launcher to get out quickly, but that's assuming they see me in the first place."

Where is this soldier reporting from?
Hint

Question 6 of 10
6. "This is Thrak Farelle of the Rebel Alliance. I've just jumped into hyperspace with my wing mate. We stayed as long as we could, but Ulen Orsalan, my gunner, was badly hurt when our snowspeeder was shot by one of the Imperial's walkers. We were going to wrap around the walker's legs before it blew the shield generator, but we got hit first. We lost weapons and acceleration, and our repulsorlifts were failing. We had no choice but to bug out. Imperials have probably occupied the base now. As far as I'm concerned, they can have that ice ball. I just wish we could have evacuated everyone before they took it."

Where is this soldier reporting from?
Hint

Question 7 of 10
7. "Imperial Shocktrooper KG 077. I'm walking around through the brush of this hideous planet, laying mines for any unsuspecting rebels. The rain seems to have no end. My squad and I are to loop around the ruins and come at the main rebel base at an angle, where we can take out their heavy vehicles and turrets. After we take this position, we'll completely surround the larger temple that the rebels have claimed. This should be fairly easy, but in war, it's never fair, nor easy."

Where is this soldier reporting from?
Hint

Question 8 of 10
8. "This is Imperial Pilot RH 270, 1300 hours local time. We're sitting out here, just out of range of rebel snipers, preparing our walkers for our assault on the beach. The battle plan is we go in first with the walkers to kill anything not in white armor, followed by sharpshooters and Stormtroopers to clear out those hard-to-reach places. If we're lucky, we may get the aid of the ships upstairs to do some of the dirty work. We have a pretty good advantage with our vehicles, but it's a hard position to assault and the Rebels also have the Wookiees on their side, giving them the upper hand in numbers, for once."

Where is this soldier reporting from?
Hint

Question 9 of 10
9. "SBD, Unit 843
Condition: Critical
Moving to repair station. First wave, destroyed. Clone forces are advancing. Foreward positions are lost. They've taken the lighthouse and the caves, and are bringing in heavy vehicles. Recommend mission abort."

Where is this soldier reporting from?
Hint

Question 10 of 10
10. "ARC Beta 030. I never thought it would come to this. I never thought the Separatists would be so bold. The cloning chambers and other facilities are threatened. The place I was raised to fight is now under siege. I've sworn to hold this position for as long as possible, but the Seps seem intent on destroying the city before any more clones can be released into the war. They've set up strong points already on the farthest exterior platforms, and it'll only be a matter of time before it's my turn to blow them to pieces."

Where is this soldier reporting from?

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "Assassin droid, Unit 253 Condition: Good Republic forces have overrun the area, closing fast. Six Confederacy units remain, deployed in defensive array. Republic Troops seen coming down the steps, on both sides, to our last remaining stronghold in the Courtyard. Defeat is imminent." Where is this soldier reporting from?

Answer: Rhen Var: Citadel

Rhen Var: Citadel has a lot of stairways and nasty little walkways you can use to get to different locations with relative ease. The Courtyard command point is the starting CIS location, and is actually situated at the bottom of a large, freestanding tower. If you go up three flights of stairs, you'll be at the top, giving you a nice view of the two adjacent corners of the map, making it almost perfect for sniping.
They'll probably send in ground forces soon." Where is this soldier reporting from?

Answer: Bespin: Platforms

Bespin: Platforms is set up almost symmetrically. Each side has a command point in a large building, and two others off on exterior platforms with fighters and bombers sitting ready for launch. There is also a center, neutral command point, which both teams will normally run to in order to gain the upper hand.
We're requesting bomber support before we go in." Where is this soldier reporting from?

Answer: Tatooine: Dune Sea

Tatooine: Dune Sea is an interesting map. There are six command points, two for each faction (whether it be the Galactic Civil War, or the Clone Wars) and another two for the Tusken Raiders. It's quite open, with decent distances, so you can rule the battlefield as almost any class. You can snipe, assault, rocket, or anything. Just watch out for vehicles, as there are heavy ground vehicles as well as fighters and bombers. Also, there is a sarlacc in the middle of the map that will eat you, your enemies, and Tusken Raiders if you get too close.
4. "Scout Trooper JJ 579 coming in. Recon details include a small rebel force advancing on our position with the aid of the locals, the short furry creatures. ETA is three minutes. Recommend power up to all base defenses." Where is this soldier reporting from?

Answer: Endor: Bunker

Endor: Bunker is one of the two maps that can only be played in the Galactic Civil war. The Empire comes with three AT-STs, and speeder bikes, while the Rebel Alliance gets the aid of the Ewoks. Ewoks don't do much, and can't take much, but if the Empire will target an Ewok before you, you might consider them good for something.
If worst comes to worst, I can use my EMP Launcher to get out quickly, but that's assuming they see me in the first place." Where is this soldier reporting from?

Answer: Naboo: Theed

Naboo: Theed is an interesting map. It's set in Theed, the capitol of Naboo. The streets are wide enough for tanks and easy troop movement, but there are also balconies and stairways tucked away in the buildings that offer great sniping positions and places to fire rockets from. There are also many structures such as fountains and columns you can take cover behind.
I just wish we could have evacuated everyone before they took it." Where is this soldier reporting from?

Answer: Hoth: Echo Base

Hoth: Echo Base is an interesting map. The Empire gets a pair of walkers and a command post to begin with harboring a few AT-STs. The Rebels get all of Echo Base, which is all interior, giving them an advantage when it comes to setting up base defenses.

They can lay mines and prepare for Imperial invasion parties. The walkers can get into Echo Base, but they can be a hassle, firing into the hangar where the Rebel Snowspeeders are kept. A fleet of Snowspeeders and be quite dangerous for a walker if it has a gunner to fire the tow cable.
This should be fairly easy, but in war, it's never fair, nor easy." Where is this soldier reporting from?

Answer: Yavin 4: Arena

Yavin 4: Arena is about the most symmetrical of any of the maps in "Battlefront". It has two small temples on opposite sides of the large temple. The small temples are host to all the heavy vehicles and base defenses. However, most of the fighting will probably happen in the large temple, which has ledges and other obstacles to move around and take cover behind.
We have a pretty good advantage with our vehicles, but it's a hard position to assault and the Rebels also have the Wookiees on their side, giving them the upper hand in numbers, for once." Where is this soldier reporting from?

Answer: Kashyyyk: Docks

Kashyyyk: Docks is an entertaining map, as you play it entirely different depending on which faction you're playing as. The Empire (Or CIS in the Clone Wars) get a bunch of heavy vehicles to assault the beach area while the Rebel Alliance (Republic in the Clone Wars) get the aid of the Wookiees as well as excellent sniping positions.
9. "SBD, Unit 843 Condition: Critical Moving to repair station. First wave, destroyed. Clone forces are advancing. Foreward positions are lost. They've taken the lighthouse and the caves, and are bringing in heavy vehicles. Recommend mission abort." Where is this soldier reporting from?

Answer: Rhen Var: Harbor

In Rhen Var: Harbor, the CIS starts off with two command points in the city, while the Republic gets a rear position, which most Confederacy units will never see, and a point in the caves, where they can all spawn from and enter the frozen harbor town.

The Republic also comes with an AT-TE and two tanks, while the CIS gets two tanks and some meager base defenses. The Confederacy is normally hard pressed to win on this battlefront.
They've set up strong points already on the farthest exterior platforms, and it'll only be a matter of time before it's my turn to blow them to pieces." Where is this soldier reporting from?

Answer: Kamino: Topica City

Kamino: Topica City is only playable is the Clone Wars. It's a series of platforms raised out of the see, all at varying heights, with only one interior area. There are numerous sniping positions along the map, and assaults on enemy command points are difficult because the walkways connecting the platforms are so narrow.

There is a constant rain and the command points are all close together, making it easy to assault a position from multiple adjacent platforms.
