1. Which of these boards doesn't exist in "Mario Party 2"?

Answer: Flower Land

The boards are: Pirate land, Western land, Mystery land, Space land, Horror land, Rules land and Mini-game land. Once you've played on all boards (except Rules land and Mini-game land), you get to play on Bowser land.
2. How much does a star cost?

Answer: 20 coins

Toad gives you the star. You can also steal a star from another player with Boo, which costs 50 coins.
3. Before hitting Dice Blocks, which button do you have to press to see the map?

Answer: R button

Pressing the Z button makes you see the whole board, pressing the B button shows you your items and pressing the Start button displays the pause menu. You can also press the A button, which makes you hit the Dice Blocks.
4. Which of these is NOT one of the characters you can play with?

Answer: Daisy

The characters you can play with are Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Wario, and Donkey Kong. Daisy is available for the first time in "Mario Party 3".
5. During the other players' turns, what happens if you press the L button?

Answer: Your character says something

You can do this to "taunt the other players during their turns", as the instruction booklet says. If your press the L button during your turn though, nothing happens.
6. What is the name of the professor in the Option laboratory?

Answer: Professor Fungi

Professor Fungi is the one to visit if you want to take a look at your game data and mini-game records. You can also listen to the sounds and songs heard in the game and change from mono to stereo in the Option laboratory.
7. Some items can be bought, but others can't. Which of these items can't you buy?

Answer: Boo Bell

A Warp Block and a Dueling Glove each cost 15 coins; A Magic Lamp costs 30 coins. However, to get a Boo Bell, you have to win one in an item mini-game.
8. Which of these characters is NOT in the game?

Answer: Tumble

Woody is the tree in Mini-Game land, Bob-omb appears in several games and in mystery land, and Steamer is the name of the train in western land. Tumble appears only in "Mario Party 3".
9. What is the orange play list?

Answer: A list of all the songs heard in the game

The blue playlist is a list of all the sound and voices heard in the games. To see the mini-games records and the game data, just have a look on professor Fungi's computer.
10. Before starting the game, you must set the number of turns. How many turns are there in a standard play?

Answer: 35 turns

A lite play is 20 turns. A full play is 50 turns. You can't set a board game to 10 turns, although in the mini-game stadium, in trial mode, this is the length of a lite play.
