They are Choco/Mog (Summon) from the chocobo in the Chocobo Ranch on Disc 1, Enemy Skill (Command) from the Green Chocobo at Chocobo Sage's house, and Contain (Magic) from the white chocobo in Mideel. Although you need a chocobo to get to the Materia Caves, you don't get the actual materia from the chocobos.

They are located: 1) in the specimen cage after battle with HO512 in Shinra Headquarters. 2) Junon - Beginner's Hall Intermediate. It's in one of the houses with a ladder that leads down. The ghosts of the people who were in Sector 7's Beginner's Hall. 3) City of the Ancients in the room where the party rest before looking for Aeris. 4) Chocobo Sage's house. You just simply have to talk to the green chocobo and he gives it to you.

For those of you that weren't sure, Corral Valley Cave is the cave above the City of the Ancients, where you also find the Hypnocrown, which is useful for helping you to manipulate enemies. Magic Plus does what it says, increases your Magic. Luck Plus is in the Temple of the Ancients, Speed Plus is the 4000BP prize in the Battle Square, and Gil Plus is the 10000GP prize at the Wonder Square.

When you first get an Elemental, and it is on Level 1, it just halves attacks with the same element as the equipped materia. But as you get more AP and increase its level, it becomes more useful, and eventually absorbs the element. If you equip it in your Weapon, you attack with the same element, which can help you, but also disadvantage you.

It sells for so low because its second level, Flash, has the ability to instantly kill all opponents. Command materia such as Deathblow, Manipulate and Throw sell for 700 000 Gil, Steal sells for 84 000 Gil and Sense sells for 70 000 Gil. Other Command materia like W-Item, W-Summon, W-Magic and Morph sell for 1 Gil.

When you insert the Key to the Ancients, a huge waterfall comes down around the centre point of the City of the Ancients. Then images appear of Aeris, and it shows her White materia glowing a pale green, which means that she has successfully summoned Holy. At the end sequence, when Meteor is prevailing over Holy, the Lifestream comes and defeats Meteor.

The Independent materia is HP-MP, which swaps your HP and MP around, so you can have a Max.MP of 9999! But you can only have a Max.HP of 999. The Command materia is Mime, which makes your character repeat the last move done by a party member. And the Support materia is Quadra Magic, which casts the equipped Magic materia 4 times, but does less damage with each hit. Of course, you can also get the Summon materia, Knights of the Round from a Materia Cave.
