Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The very first level is set at a Nazi port in France. What is the name of the port?

Answer: St. Nazaire

St. Nazaire was the site of the British spearhead. Come du Mont and Laurre de Gaulle were two towns in France where the Airborne did a lot of fighting. St. Nezine is just plain made up.
2. In the very first level set in North Africa, you are sent out with soldiers of the SAS to sabotage new German tanks. What type of tanks were they?

Answer: Tiger

Although they were not used hardly at all in North Africa, the Tiger tank saw a lot of action in the European theater. The King Tiger and Jagdpanther were hardly ever seen during the war, and the Panzer IV was the workhorse of the German war machine.
3. In the second level during the North Africa campaign you are once again accompanied by SAS commandos to destroy a V-2 rocket facility. Who was the creator of the dreaded V-2 rocket?

Answer: Werner von Braunn

Erwin Koppler was a boss on one of the levels in France and had nothing to do with the V-2. Herman Goering was head of the Luftwaffe during the war and von Rundstedt was commander of Army Group B in France.
4. During the Battle of Stalingrad, many new weapons emerged from both the Germans and the Russians. Through all of this, the Russians managed to create a weapon that the Germans preferred over their own. What was this weapon?

Answer: PPSH

The STG44 was the German assault rifle and was loved by both sides, but it couldn't beat the PPSH with its 71 round drum. The Mosin Nagant was a five shot rifle and the DP-28 was a light machine gun that held 47 rounds.
5. The Battle of the Bulge is the last campaign in the game. What tank is used most during this battle?

Answer: King Tiger

Lucky for us we never have to fight a Tiger in this game. The Panzer V is only featured once and that is in France. The Sturmgpanzer was used in Italy and is never seen in this game, but if you play the old "Medal of Honor" games you can see it.
6. The very last level is set during a very pivotal time during the Battle of the Bulge. As you start off there are American tanks moving foward in front of you. What type of tanks are these?

Answer: Shermans

M-10 Wolverines were a very rare tank, and were first seen at the Battle of Aachen on the outskirts of Germany. The Stuart was used mostly in southern France and the Netherlands. The Char B was a British tank used in Market Garden.
7. What is the secret American organization that the main character, William Holt, works for?

Answer: OSS

The SAS was the British version of the OSS. The other two are just made up organizations.
8. All through the last level during the Battle of the Bulge, there is an American soldier that follows you everywhere giving you orders and telling you what to do. What is his rank?

Answer: Captain

Usually Lieutenants were not seen in the middle of a battle. Lt. Col's were only at battalion headquarters. A MSgt. wouldn't be running around giving people orders unless they were a private.
9. There is a type of German stationary rocket launcher featured all throughout the game. What is the name of this seriously dangerous weapon?

Answer: Nebelwerfer

A Panzergrenadier was a German infantry-man that carried lots of grenades and supported a Panzer division. Flamenwoffen was the name for German flamethrowers, and Nablewerfter's didn't exist.
10. On the first level during the Russia campaign, one of your objectives is to destroy a German railgun. This mission actually happened during WWII. What was the name of the railgun?

Answer: Railgun Greta

Railgun Greta was used to destroy Russian ammo dumps and fuel depots all throughout the battle of Stalingrad. Ulga was used to try and prevent to Americans from penetrating Normandy beach. Klaus IV was used by the Germans in Holland to keep the Allies at bay. Adolph III was never put into production.
