1. What species is Goombella?

Answer: Goomba

She goes on to become your first partner. You can use her to find out an enemy's weakness and strength. She also has an attack called Headbonk, which is similar to Mario's jump.

2. What subject is Goombella currently studying?

Answer: Archaeology

She studies it at the University of Goom. Her teacher is called Professor Frankly. The professor knows a lot about the Thousand-Year Door and he will give you the directions to the Crystal Stars. He's also very eccentric.

3. What part of Rogueport is Professor Frankly's house in?

Answer: East Rogueport

South Rogueport is the harbour, where there are no houses. You don't have access to West Rogueport yet. Centre Rogueport has a shop and an inn, but not the Professor's house.

4. How many Crystal Stars are there, according to Frankly?

Answer: Seven

If you take all of the Crystal Stars down to the legendary Thousand-Year Door, it will open. It is said that there's a great treasure behind it. But no-one is sure of what this treasure really is.

5. What is the cost of a Sleepy Sheep at the shop?

They can make your opponent fall asleep and it can give you an extra turn to attack. It's recommended that you buy a few. Visit the shop in Centre Rogueport to buy some.

Answer: A Goomba

They can be found in the dark alley, which is north from Centre Rougeport. It is the hide-out of gangs and thieves, so it's not a very welcoming place.

7. When you reach Rogueport Sewers, you meet three Goombas which you go into battle with. What is the order of the Goombas, from left to right?

Answer: Normal Goomba, Spiked Goomba, Paragoomba

They're the first enemies you'll come across in Rogueport Sewers. When you go into battle, attack them in this order: Paragoomba, Normal Goomba and finally, Spiked Goomba. Make sure not to jump on the Spiked Goomba though!

8. What special move do you gain when you stand on the pedestal in the Thousand-Year Door room?

Answer: Sweet Treat

If you're low on HP or FP, use this special move. You then need to throw balls at falling icons of yourself, your partner and flowers. Hitting your icon will gain you 1 HP, same for your partner's icon and the flower will get you 1 FP. This move costs one portion of your Star Power, though.

9. What is the health of the Blooper in Rogueport Sewers?

Answer: 12

He's a big giant squid. Use Power Smash and Fire Flowers to defeat him. He isn't too tough. Just put Goombella in front of you so you don't take too much damage.

10. How many floating platforms appear on the water when you defeat the Blooper in Rogueport Sewers?

Answer: Two

They go to a pipe which leads to Chapter 1. Be careful not to fall in the water or Chomp enemies in there will bite you and make you lose some health!
