Rebecca encounters Billy on an abandoned train and she had orders to arrest them. Billy persuaded her that they should work together as a team to get out their present situation.

Rebecca encounters Edward, one of her teammates, who escapes from some zombie dogs but only manages to utter a few words of warning before dying. Rebecca encounters the zombie version of Edward later on.

"Resident Evil Zero" gives the player insight to Wesker's plot before "Resident Evil 1". However, the person who leaked the T-Virus into the train, and the mansion, was James Marcus.

Enrico, captain of one of the S.T.A.R.S team, was sent in to investigate the recent murders of the Arklay Mountain killings. In the end, Enrico ends up being killed by Wesker.

At first encounter, Rebecca doesn't trust Billy completely because of his shady background. As the game goes on, their trust grows with each other.

In the last scene, Billy kills the queen leech with a magnum sending her to her death. The same revolver can be unlocked by beating Leech Hunter mode.

The grandson/son of James Marcus watches Rebecca and Billy's movements via security cameras. In this scene he unleashes Eliminators (infected gorillas) to attack Billy and Rebecca.

In the end, Rebecca and Billy go their separate ways. Rebecca continues on her mission while Billy keeps on running to prevent getting caught again. Rebecca files Billy as being dead in her report, a way to help him escape and to make sure no one goes after him again.

10. "Ah, time to die, doctor."

This was the scene where Marcus recalls his assassination by Umbrella forces. Marcus barely has enough life in him to recognize Wesker and Birkin talking to him about Umbrella's "change of plans".
