"Resident Evil" Chronology Trivia Quiz

S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team's helicopter crashed in the Arklay Mountains where S.T.A.R.S. Medic, Rebecca Chambers, took alleged felon, Billy Coen, "into custody". The two made their way on the Ecliptic Express to the mansion of James Marcus, where they eventually uncovered the Progenitor Virus. The Progenitor gave rise to the infamous T-Virus.

This game redefined "Resident Evil" as we know it. This was the first game in the series that used a different control scheme and different camera work. This was also Leon S. Kennedy's triumphant return since "Resident Evil 2". Ada Wong also showed up as a surprise character, returning also from "Resident Evil 2".

You can't help but feel badly for poor Leon. His first day working for the Raccoon Police Department, and the city is infested with zombies. This game uncovers the mystery behind one of Umbrella's major researchers, Dr. William Birkin. Birkin was responsible for the creation of the G-Virus, and the release of the T-virus into the streets of Raccoon City.

"Resident Evil 5" brings Chris Redfield back since his last appearance in "Resident Evil Code: Veronica X". Chris partners up with BSAA agent Sheva Alomar in a trek across North Africa. In their journey they discover more secrets about the Progenitor Virus and even solve the mystery behind Jill Valentine's "death".

This game started it all. It unveiled S.T.A.R.S. Captain, Albert Wesker, as a traitor and uncovered the Umbrella Corporation as the company responsible for the T-Virus. This game introduced the series most loved characters, Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield.

This game is also the only game in the series to have Crimson Heads. When a zombie is killed, it is resurrected faster and stronger then before as a Crimson Head.

Answer: "Resident Evil 3: Nemesis"

Jill Valentine takes up her second role as the lead character in "Resident Evil 3". It begins 24 hours before "Resident Evil 2", but ends two days later on October 1, 1998. Jill is trying to escape the city with Carlos Olivera, all the while being hunted by Nemesis. Nemesis was a monster created by Umbrella to hunt down and destroy the remaining members of S.T.A.R.S.

Claire Redfield searches Rockfort Island for her brother, Chris. She ends up dealing with the strange story surrounding the Ashford family, and escaping to Antarctica with Steve Burnside. Chris eventually meets her there, after a reunion with his former Captain, Albert Wesker.

Answer: "Resident Evil:The Umbrella Chronicles"

"Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles" retells the story of "Resident Evil 0, 1 and 3", along with the tale of Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield's raid of a Russian Umbrella Research Facility. This raid effectively ends The Umbrella Corporation as we know it.

However, Wesker made away with all of Umbrellas data. This data would be used alongside Tricell to bring about the events during "Resident Evil 5".

Answer: Albert Wesker

Albert Wesker was born a normal child, but was placed into the "Wesker Children" project by Ozwell E. Spencer. Although thirteen children were placed into the program, Albert was the only one to survive. He then continued to do Spencers bidding all the way to his eventual death at the hand of Chris Redfield. Albert Wesker remains one of the most infamous video game villains of all time.

Rebecca Chambers is the youngest member of the S.T.A.R.S. team. She served as one of the two protagonists in "Resident Evil 0". She also played a small role in "Resident Evil" and she is a playable character in "The Mercenaries: Reunion" in "Resident Evil 5".
