The scenario is quite short compared to the ones lasting three or four years in the future scenarios. Usually in these timed scenarios, you need to attract a certain amount of people into the park at the same time, and you need to have a certain park rating.

As long as you keep your guests happy with plenty or rides, good food, clean paths, and nice scenery your park rating will be higher.

Answer: Souvenir Stall

For a price of $210 and for one square unit of land, you can place a Souvenir Stall in your park. The Souvenir Stall sells Cuddly Toys as well as Umbrellas which can also be bought at the Information Kiosk at the same default price. Although Cuddly Toys can't be made with different colours, you can change the colours of the Umbrellas in every Kiosk or Souvenir Stall you create.

Answer: Evergreen Gardens

'Millennium Mines', 'Aqua Park', and 'Crumbly Woods', you need to get a certain amount of guests and a certain Park Value by the time that you reach October 31st at the end of Year 3. In 'Evergreen Gardens', you need to get at least one thousand guests into your park by the end of Year 4.

In the 'Evergreen Gardens' scenario, I suggest that you put a couple of No Entry signs onto some paths or else guests will get lost in the gardens and immense trail system and your Park Rating will decrease.

Like coasters and some water rides, Hedge Mazes can be custom made, or come with pre-made maze templates called 'Mini Maze' and 'Spiral Maze'. Like roller coasters, log flumes, water slides, and more custom buildable rides, you can save Hedge Mazes that you create by going to the main maze window, then saving it under the file menu.

When placed on level ground, the Swinging Ship costs $387 while the Swinging Inverter Ship costs $424 on level ground. Oddly, the Swinging Ship is a five by one square unit ride which is capable of holding an entrance and/or exit on either side of the ride, while the Swinging Inverter Ship is four by one square unit ride which only has one spot for an entrance and one for the exit; both at the front of the ride. Sixteen people can ride the Swinging Ship while the Swinging Inverter Ship can hold twelve.

If the weather in your park turns rainy or stormy, guests will flock to your indoor rides to get out of the rain. Without expansion packs, the list of indoor rides includes Bumper Cars, Haunted House, Observation Tower, 3D Cinema, Motion Simulator, Chairlift, and Monorail.

In the rain, guests are much more likely to buy and use Umbrellas, to make sure that you have them at reasonable prices in your Information Kiosks and Souvenir Stalls. If it's raining out, guests will also make tons of comments that they won't go on certain intense rides because of the weather.

Since the Chairlift can only hold twelve chairs, you shouldn't need to build any more that six or seven station platforms. On a Chairlift, try and put the entrance near the front of the station platform in order to get guests onto their chair as quickly as possible, and get them off of the chair and out at the exit as soon as possible. If you place a chairlift or any other transportation rides through the loop-de-loop of a roller coaster, you can increase the Excitement Rating of the ride.

When managing staff, you can hire Handymen to clean up paths, empty garbage cans, and mow lawns, Mechanics to fix and inspect rides, Security Guards to patrol the park to prevent vandalism, and Entertainers to make your guests happy, and to raise your Park Rating.

Although Handymen can mow lawns, you can easily cut the grass by selecting the landscaping tool, but instead of raising, lowering, and leveling land, you just click on the grass which you want to cut, and it will be finely groomed.

You can have Maximum Research at $400, Normal Research at $200, Minimum Research at $100 or No Research for $0. Research can get you Roller Coasters, Gentle, Thrill, and Water rides as well as Scenery and Theming and Ride Improvements. The research payment isn't paid in one lump sum; you pay it in installments over each month.

Answer: Mega Park

In 'Mega Park', you start with ten thousand dollars and you're told to have fun. Basically, the park is a reward for defeating all of the scenarios. With all of the rides in the game, you can feel free to go nuts and build an awesome park. :)
