Answer: Farming

Farming is the only skill where you have to "wait". Instead of doing a certain action to get experience, you must wait a certain period of time to harvest your crop and gain experience. In the farming skill, you start out planting small plants like potatoes, and slowly make your way up to large plants, such as a magic tree.

Firemaking is one of the most basic skills in "Runescape" and is open to free players. In the firemaking skill, you simply click on a log, then a tinderbox, and a fire will be started.

In the smithing skill, players use ores to make metal bars, then use the bars to make armor. Other than buying from other players and stores, and getting as drops from monsters, there are no ways besides smithing to get your metal armor.

Defense is one of seven skills that affect your combat level. The higher your defense is, the less you get hit. Most pures don't want defense, however, because it will make their combat level go higher than they want.

The hunter skill is a skill that was released by Jagex in November of 2006. It includes many methods of catching animals, including nets, boxes, and other various traps.

Cooking is one of the easiest skills to get 99 in, and over 10,000 people as of May 2007 have 99 cooking. There is even a cooking guild, located west of Varrock.

Fletching is one of the most popular skills and is only for paying members. At level 70, you can make the expensive and in-demand yew longbow.

Answer: Hitpoints

Hitpoints is represented with a heart on the stat menu. For every hitpoints level that you gain, you obtain one more hitpoint.

One of the most popular Runecrafting spots for members is the abyss. It greatly increases the speed of runecrafting, but adds a potential danger since it is in the wilderness

Thieving was originally thought of as a hard skill, but when the mini-game Pyramid Plunder was released, thieving became much easier. Now it is common to see players with 99 thieving.

Although you can cut down trees in farming, they ARE player-made and give you woodcutting experience, not farming experience. When you are level 1 woodcutting, you start with normal trees, but you can eventually build your way up to magic trees at level 75.

Strength is represented by a fist on the stat menu. Strength also increases your combat level, but is much wanted by pures.

To enter the crafting guild, one needs 40 crafting. The crafting guild has a cow pen next to it, for easy access to cowhides.

Herblore is a members' only skill. Besides brewing potions, members can use the herblore skill to identify herbs.

Prayer is one of the hardest skills to raise, even though it is a skill that can be enjoyed by free players. Its icon in the stat menu was changed in 2006 from a yellow star to a white star.

At 85 slayer, players can kill abyssal demons. Abyssal demons give great drops, such as the abyssal whip.

Construction is a very pricy skill, but it's very rewarding. You can make games, portals, and altars for your house.

The magic skill has many uses. You start off only being able to do basic spells that do little amounts of damage, but at later points, you can even block an opponent from teleporting!

The higher that your agility level is, the faster your run energy recharges. The agility emote consists of a player climbing up a pole, then climbing back down.
