To advance in the political career, sims need to have a high charisma skill. Having the charismatic and schmoozer traits will help with that. As they climb the ladder, they will be able to host campaign fundraisers to secure their future as Leader of the Free World.

Answer: Dancer

Magicians, acrobats, and singers can all practise their skills, perform for tips, and audition to perform at venues. The more advanced your sim is in their career, the bigger the venue they can play, and the bigger the cash reward!

Sims can't be professional dancers, but they can use a stereo to show off their moves.

Answer: Military

Did this one catch you out? It caught me out when I first got my sim to the top of the Science career and then couldn't figure out how to make them an astronaut!

Astronaut is level 10 of the military career track. Sims in that position only have to work one day a week, but earn a phenomenal amount of money in that one day! To get there, sims need very high athletic and handiness skills, so the athletic and handy traits will be very useful.

Answer: Art appraiser

Sims can gain influence in the rebel social group by eating herbs and organising protests. When they reach the top level of each of the three social groups, they will be offered a job linked to that particular group. For the rebels, it is the art appraiser.

Initially, sims just need to maintain their rebel influence, but further up the career ladder, they will need the painting skill, too.

Answer: The celebrity system

Becoming a witch is a feature of 'Supernatural', but vampires, moonlighting, and celebrities are all part of 'Late Night'. Celebrities can advance up to level five - a must for any sim who wants to make it in films. Being a celebrity comes with many perks, like getting into exclusive clubs. But it also has its downfalls.

Answer: Sculptor

Sims with the sculpting skill can also make metal, topiary, and ice sculptures. They don't have to be on the career path to make and sell sculptures, though. Even amateurs can earn money this way.

Inventors use scrap to make their designs.

Answer: Daycare

When a sim joins the daycare profession, parents will bring their toddlers to the sim's house for them to look after for the day. It's a good idea for Eoghan to have a dedicated nursery room with toys and other objects for the kids. When he's a little more experienced, he'll be able to care for older children after school, too.

Answer: Private investigator

The private investigator career came with 'Ambitions'. Sims can join the career at the police station, but most of the action takes place around the town. Adama will enjoy looking through bins and mail, doing stakeouts, and breaking into houses to collect items for 'evidence'.

Investigators can also interview people... or beat them up for information if they're not in the mood for talking...

Answer: Lifeguard

The sports agent and culinary careers don't have much to do with the ocean, though the fishing skill might come in useful when improving the cooking skill. Anglers are self-employed sims who make money from catching fish, but this career was introduced before 'Island Paradise'. Ren Lim can, of course, become a lifeguard now. Keep you eyes peeled!

Answer: Gypsy wagon

The fortune teller career divides into two branches: mystic and scam artist. But Susie is the real thing, of course! This career path came with 'Supernatural', but sims don't need to be a witch or any other supernatural sim to become a fortune teller - like Susie says, some normal sims are just gifted. Mystics need to practise the alchemy skill, but scam artists will get along fine with the logic and charisma skills.
