There are six Chaos Emeralds in the game. You can enter the special stage for a chance to win one if you finish the level with fifty rings. This is only for Act 1 and Act 2. Act 3 is the boss battle and you can't enter a special stage in these acts!

2. How many characters appeared in "Sonic 1" in total?

Answer: Two

Only Sonic and Dr. Eggman were in this one! Tails debuted in "Sonic 2". Knuckles debuted in "Sonic 3". Amy and Metal Sonic both debuted in "Sonic CD".

Casino Night was zone four, Mystic Cave was zone six, and Aquatic Ruin was zone three. Some zones, like Wing Fortress and Death Egg only have one act in them.

With this lock on feature, there are two different types of emeralds! In the first half, seven Chaos Emeralds are available, and if you have all seven when you play the second half, you can collect Super Emeralds! Super Emeralds turn Sonic into Hyper Sonic, not Super Sonic!

Answer: No

The lock on feature "Sonic 3 & Knuckles" allows Tails to be Super Tails in the second half, where seven Super Emeralds are required. You still need all seven Chaos Emeralds before you can start earning Super Emeralds!

10. What colour is the first Chaos Emerald you can collect in "Sonic 3"?

Answer: Green

The first emerald is green, the second emerald is yellow, the third emerald is pink, the fourth emerald is blue, the fifth emerald is grey, the sixth emerald is red, and the last emerald is turquoise. This rule is also used in "Sonic & Knuckles".
