When you pick hero or heroine, it just tells you to type your name. It doesn't start off with a name.

The entire story behind the heroine is that her Mana Clan was destroyed and that her and Sir Bogard are the only survivors.

Amanda is Lester's sister, and Medusa is their mom. However, by the end of the game, the only remaining relative of the family is Lester. A lot of people die in this game, it's kind of sad!

The flail is the 3rd, the knucks are the 4th, the mace is the 7th and the lance is 8th and last.

You must get there to stop medusa from helping Julius. If you're the hero, you need to fight her to stop her, but if you're the heroine, Medusa is already dying when you get there.

Topple Village, where you start out, only has a couple of buildings in it. Nothing of much relevance to the story occurs in Menos Village. The town of Jadd is big, but not nearly as big as Wendel which contains a giant cathedral where you can get the 8th of every spirit.

In the first form, he moves, stops, and attacks. In the second, sprouts into flame and you need to wait until you can attack him without getting burned in the process! The third and final form is the hardest because he summons spirits for about two minutes, and you need to wait until he stops for about five seconds, then take as many shots as you can.
