Answer: Sea-fox

There's a fair amount of underwater area to explore in this game. For this you will control Tail's in his submarine. There is one underwater boss battle, and you will have to explore the depths to find the entrances to several levels. The Sea-fox has its own items, including various guns and missiles, a spark (that destroys things close to you), and even invincibility.

After you acquire a specific item, the Sea-fox also takes to the sky in a flying level. There is also a level where you must travel up a river and waterfalls in the Sea-fox.

You start with 10 HP and very little flight time in the first level, and it stays that way until you find a Chaos Emerald. Tails' HP and flight time increase with each one. There are six in all. The most HP you can ever get in this game is 99.

No characters except Tails and the bird army are in this game. There are items named after several of the characters that grant you skills (Sonic's gives you the ability to do the famous spin dash), but none of them are necessary or particularly useful.

Answer: Rings

Tail's HP is measured in rings, however this is a real HP system. (Not like in other Sonic games where your rings scatter when hit you are hit, but it doesn't really matter how much you have - because you are alright with only one even if you are hurt, you just have to grab it again after being hit!) You can get more rings by defeating enemies, blowing up rocks and such, or occasionally coming across some in a hidden area. If you have the "Fang" item in use, your likely hood of getting rings after defeating enemies increases.

Answer: You can't, you have to use passwords!

Unfortunately, you have to use passwords to save this game. Probably this game's biggest flaw. The passwords are long too. When you first turn the game on, you will be asked to input a very long password if you hit the "Continue" menu. The password changes each time you collect an item or unlock a new level. You can see the password at Tails' House (your home base).

But be careful you don't mess it up by pressing the 2 or 1 buttons, as this will change the password and you will be unable to exit the screen unless you change it back (which can be hard if you hadn't written it down yet!)

Answer: Regular bomb, triple bomb, large bomb, napalm bomb, and remote bomb

Bombs are Tails' main source of offensive weapons. The regular bomb is the bomb you start the game with and is your basic weapon until you obtain the triple bomb, which is simply a better version of the same thing. You use the large bomb to destroy thick walls, but even though it is powerful, it is poor offensively because you can't throw it and because it takes so long to explode.

The remote bomb is a bomb that you can toss and explode on your command. The napalm bomb releases a line of fire that can burn tall grass blocking your way (and enemies).

Answer: "Sonic Adventure DX" and "Sonic Gems Collection"

"Tails' Adventures" appeared in the Sonic compilation "Sonic Gems Collection", along with Tails' other solo adventure, "Tails' Sky Patrol", also originally for Game Gear, though it was only released in Japan. This game was also an unlockable mini-game in "Sonic Adventure DX" (as was "Tails' Sky Patrol").

The radio is really just a soundtrack. Unfortunately, you can't just listen to it anytime. You have to equip it for a level and use it there. Once you change the music though, that room will keep that music until you exit. While there is a red Chaos Emerald, there is no orange Chaos Emerald.

Answer: Dropping certain types of bombs from the sky while Tails is flying

You can drop the regular bomb, triple bomb, and remote bomb while flying. Jumping on enemies will only result in you hurting yourself, and the Sea-fox submarine is the only way to explore water areas. While you can of course turn around, you can't actually walk backwards.

Answer: Remote robot

The remote robot is easily one of the most important items in the game. It is essentially a mini-Tails and you control it the same, only you can fly infinitely and can't attack, you also can't be killed while using the remote robot. It can fit into areas Tails can't.

It is an essential part for solving nearly all the puzzles in the game, and you will use it to get countless other items.
