When you first arrive at the entrance to the temple, and discuss how to get inside, Raine notices how ancient the ruins are, and begins to ravnt about how great they are, and how she would love to study them. She gains the title "Archeological Maniac" after her rant.

Answer: Red Roper

A Red Roper is a large jelly-like creature, with red tentacles, very similar to the Green Ropers you fight in the Water Temple. Other enemies which can be found in the Triet Ruins are Fire Elements, Fire Birds, and a Fake.

Answer: All-Divide

The Fake is disguised as a chest near the entrance you reach if you take the northern path at the fork. Although it only has 400 HP, the Fake is a formidible opponent at this stage in the game. All-Divide is a rare item, which halves all damage received and inflicted during battle.

It is well worth coming back later in the game to collect this item, as there are very few All-Divide's available in the game, and they can make all the difference against a tough boss like Abyssion.

Answer: Guardian

Damage Guard is Colette's defensive technique. Force Field is Genis' and Raine's, and Bastion is Regal's. Kratos and Zelos also use Guardian. Kratos teaches Lloyd to defend himself after they are attacked on the way into the Ruins.

In order to get to the chest, you need to shoot the rubble off of it with the Sorceror's Ring. This is one of very few times you can acquire Lemon Gel whilst still in Sylverant - as a general rule, Apple and Orange Gels are found in Sylverant, and Lemon and Pinapple Gels are found in Tethe'alla.

Answer: Platforms are raised

The Sorceror's Ring must be used to raise platforms inside the Ruins, so that you can reach the boss chamber, and so that you can collect chests and items. There are blocks in this area, which need to be pushed into holes to create pathways, but these are not affected by the torches.

Answer: Ktugachlings

Ktugach and the Ktugachlings are the first Seal Guardians you fight in the game, and they can be challenging if you are not prepared for the battle. By defeating them, Colette is able to break the seal, and Remiel appears to give her the clue to the next seal.

Answer: Angel Feathers

Angel Feathers is a powerful attack that hits all enemies. Holy Song is learned by breaking the seal at the Wind Temple, Sacrifice is from the Light Temple, and Judgment is obtained when you reach the Tower of Salvation.

Answer: Attack Symbol

Efreet drops an Attack Symbol; an accessory which increases attack power. Efreet has 18000 HP, and takes a great deal of damage from ice spells, and considerable damage from water spells.

Answer: Celsius

Celsius is the Summon Spirit of Ice, and Efreet's polar opposite. She appears when Sheena gains Efreet's power, because the link between the two of them has beens severed. After this, Sheena gains the ability to summon Efreet, and the party receives a garnet.
